Nobody gets out of here unscathed, including myself. I innocently walked into the pasture and stepped in Sh-t! I will tell you with good intention and trust on my part, but I believe the Universe needed me in a way I was unaware. Not all the world operates with the same set of “rules” or consciousness. When I first discovered my dilemma, I was sick to my stomach. I wondered if I was supposed to sell my home. All sorts of scenarios went through my mind as I searched for the most astute answer.
In the end, and with the help of a friend, I was introduced to a lawyer who indeed saw the even bigger problem behind this particular company. Another team of Lightworkers exposing darkness! I knew that this was a fight on a very personal level. But this is Light vs. Darkness, just the same, lurking around many corners, and these individuals and companies are being revealed, finally for who they are. Anyway, I had been called to bring some documents back to the lawyer’s office this specific morning. I promised I would be there by 10:00 am. I arrived a few minutes early. The door was open, but most of the staff was not yet there. However, what greeted me was the happiest dog on the planet—or certainly one of them! A Boston Terrier, named Mitchell (which ironically was the name of my ex-husband which added to the sense of ‘cosmic humor’.) And this little terrier, who I had met once before, was all set to play. He quickly realized his opportunity as the boss, his Dad, was in the back on the phone, and although I really wasn’t in the mood to play with his tennis ball, he rapidly engaged me. First, by his sad eyes when I didn’t pick up his tennis ball. And then, with his persistence as he tried again and again to engage the only person in the room who could make his wishes and game of ball throwing come true.
I did the only thing I could do in the moment—and picked up the ball. I threw it and he instantly retrieved it and with a “smile” on his face and a skip in his cadence dropped the ball at my feet. If I wasn’t quick enough, he again picked it up and squeezed it between where I was sitting and the chair back. Okay, okay I thought to myself. And, I tossed the now slimy ball back into the direction of the offices. Again and again, we played this game. He was out of breath and I assumed the last toss would end the game. But, each time he returned my mood lightened a bit. How could I remain so worried and anxious with the truly happy spirit playing with all his heart?
I have to say, animals seem to be able to read the situation at a very deep level. I know that fear is the only thing that dims our Light. And if we are truly Lightworkers—we are here to do work, bringing more Light to the planet. He had his job and I had mine. He helped me to see that my being upset was not an astute way to bring Light to the situation, and at some level I had volunteered for this assignment. And, so it was, in a few short minutes, a Boston Terrier helped to change the energy that morning and in a very permanent way. I haven’t looked back since. I am forever grateful and realize at every level the Universe does have our backs—and we are never alone. That messages are delivered in many unique ways designed by the Universe and here to assist us. So often we miss the signs, omens, symbols or messages. Mine was delivered in a little dog wearing a black suit. And I am forever grateful! Sometimes the most profound messages are delivered by very humorous beings, here to assist our learning, growth and expansion. This one was mine—a good lesson that I will never ever forget!
