“We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.”
These are the phrases we all heard watching Star Trek—The Next Generation when the USS Enterprise encountered the Borg. But I must ask, are we, as a collective, being turned into the Borg? For those who are unfamiliar, “the Borg were a pseudo-species of cybernetic humanoids, or cyborgs, from the Delta Quadrant known as drones. No single individual truly existed within the Borg Collective (with the possible exception of the Borg Queen), as all Borg were linked into a hive mind which connected all of them and allowed information from every drone who had been brought into the collective to be shared. Their ultimate goal was the attainment of ‘perfection’ through the forcible assimilation of diverse sentient species, technologies, and knowledge which would be added and absorbed into the hive mind. As a result, the Borg were among the most powerful and feared entities in the galaxy, without really being a true species at all.”
Too far off? What about a society like the Chinese? I have a friend—I’ll call her Winnie. She grew up in Communist China. She and her mother were not given permission to move—and lived in a separate city for thirteen years until the government decided that her father’s engineering skills were needed in a new facility. The government (run by men) then determined he could relocate to join his wife and daughter.
The movie “The Matrix” also addresses a society controlled by robots—and Neo was given the choice: red or blue pill. Are we coming to that “choice point” as well? Lack of freedom doesn’t just happen. It is eroded one small step at a time. What has been eroded during these last 100 days? Which metaphoric pill are you choosing, every time you step out of your house? Have you been assimilated?
What are the masks and social distancing really doing? Are they a step towards this erosion? Is that why so much confusion has muddled our thinking, like a newfound religious belief? It used to be My God knows better than yours; masks seemed to have replaced our belief in something beyond ourselves. In this era, could it be, we will not have a choice of how we want to live our life? Forced by the small dark collective of men controlling our every move against our free will? Impossible? In four short months about 100 days—masks are required virtually everywhere. We have been dehumanized. And the enemy lurks behind every grocery isle.
The enemy is now one who chooses not to “mask-up.” What are the continued consequences of this blind trust and mob mentality? The mean bullying and fear that causes such panic? What a brilliant tactical maneuver. Why aren’t we educating our society on antivirus supplements to reduce such fear? Why has Mother Nature been removed from our lives? It seems a great pipeline to gladly get unsuspecting citizens to stand in line for whatever the “experts” deem necessary for our health? For our democracies? And how we interact with one another? Are we presently on a course society will not recognize shortly and our children or grandchildren will never know? The digital tracking, the cameras on every corner, the push for a cashless economy where control is imposed for those who do not consent. That can’t happen you say . . . in four short months or about a 100 days . . . look what we have become.
Is this where we are headed? Or at least where the “Dark Side” would like us to be? Held In the palm of their controlling hand? Perhaps, not operating/ living plugged into a Vast metal cube flying through space in the 24th century, but with each step we lose a small part of our freedom to decide for ourselves, which brings us closer to the collective hive or mob mindset. Is this a metaphor for the Borg-like mindset seeding in our communities today? Is it ethical for our DNA/RNA to be forever changed—in vasectomy fashion because of some scientists untested “brilliance”? Our divine-God given blueprint becomes damaged forever and passed in its deformed state to the next generation—and just like that—assimilated into a collective mind. Are they so arrogant to believe they know better than the creative source that gave us this consciousness and design, that has so far worked pretty damn well? After all we have been here for about 50,000 years! What will be absent or forever changed from this vaccine’s manipulation—the chemical cut and snip of our DNA? What will be inserted? We have limited sight as human beings no matter what our IQ or what some profess to know. We don’t know what we don’t know.
Sci-fi? Or is this Borg comparison becoming closer to a very scary soon to be reality, which will be felt generations down the road and on into our future as humans? And, how far are we willing to let members of our society be the guinea pigs for their Frankenstein testing? It surely seems like it has moved out of the basement and is in full view. We are at a critical juncture. We now get to decide. What does our future hold? Why the hurry?
Perhaps, it is time to ask questions about the consequences for future off-spring, not just ourselves. I know, they have no answers. No one does, no matter what they claim. Until we can be sure—and very sure—isn’t it time to pause this decision and recover our sanity? The news media continues to push fear, fear and fear. When you are in this emotional state, prudent decisions are not made with rational minds. They are made blindly without thought for our future. Crisis, panic and fear create unwise decisions. I believe it is time to step back. STOP. Take a collective breath. Consider any decisions and the long-term consequences and ask, what is the truth? What is the motivation? And, who ultimately benefits? The pharmaceutical companies have no liability. Did you know? And a few at the top stand to profit a mere $$750 Billion. Is that the real reason we are being herded and pushed into fear, panic and masks? Critical thinking is needed to stop this runaway train. This crisis will pass. Let the truth and Light reveal the answers that have yet to be seen.
We are part of the divine creative source and a plan so big and so vast we can’t even imagine. Could I suggest that this is part of an evolutionary cycle upward? By our choice. Let’s let our magnificence shine. Put fear aside. Let our consciousness continue to elevate our insight, bringing us astute loving answers and compassionate actions. We must allow this time of crisis to pass, before we all are assimilated, and resistance is futile. We are not the Borg! We are Neo.
We are the chosen ones. We must honor our lineage and trust that we are never alone. We are angelically guided and protected by our intention—and even though we can’t see the entire picture, we walk in the light of the creator that we have inside. That is the TRUTH.
