Be The Leaf On the River . . .

Sometimes we understand our life’s direction in a rational, logical, and “make sense” kind of way; college or University comes to mind upon our graduation from high school. Sometimes we don’t. Confusing as it can be, there seems to be an invisible energetic pull we feel occasionally, in a way that we don’t really understand. How can we know, from our limited vantage point, and how the vastness of the Universe(s) really operates and impacts our life here? There are so many unknowns. Certainly, love is that way. Where we choose to live and what our likes, dislikes, irrational fears are and how our passions direct us, is also a mystery at times. Actually, so are magnetics and gravity. At times, we suddenly feel something no longer fits—like a job or career—or even a certain food; the “fit” is no longer good, and the wind blows in another direction to points unrevealed.

I say these things as I prepare to leave for another Cosmic pull. This time to Helsinki and the Yachay-Munay-Llank’ay School of Shamanic studies, level I and level II (the South and West). In my rational left brain, I understand this is my next step as a healer, counselor, and biological decoder. On another level that is much more esoteric, I feel I am called by some deep yearning—something familiar—and ancient—and the wakening of my multidimensional DNA—which has been stored in my akashic record awaiting this time. This time, of course, is humanities shift in consciousness—and all that is ancient and has been tossed away and or kept hidden for thousands of years and lifetimes is being rebirthed from its long slumber.  Have there been signs along the way of why this speaks to me? Perhaps?

I don’t consider myself a “tree hugger”, yet honor the Earth. I have always respected the animals and feel a special relationship with them. I have collected rocks, sticks and crystals—and love the feel and beauty of the forest, and it pains me that others don’t feel the need to respect and take care of our Mother, the Earth.

It also reminds me of the Fool in the Tarot. The Fool’s message, is “Take the plunge. It is time to take a risk and dive.” But it is also a major archetype in human consciousness—full of potential for Creation, unseen forces and forms. They converge, congeal and eventually materialize—as the very life force that drives us forward. He represents the great mysteries of the Cosmos, yet the Fool risks in faith and is always watch over. We feel the movement and move with the change.

I also recall a quote by Diana Gabaldon from her book Voyager which goes something like, “Realize that there are many things in the world for which no cause shall be found; not because it does not exist, but because we know too little to find it.”

And so, I set off, the Cosmos as my travel agent and my continuing journey to parts unknown, embracing this next step along the road in this life. Am I the Fool, or the Voyager? My intent is to learn new things and techniques to help others resolve trauma’s and difficulties on their path. I am the leaf—being guided by the river, trusting I will arrive exactly where I am supposed to be! But, perhaps, I am all three, knowing that I am also a Beloved Child of the Universe, protected and guided to the next ‘destination’. And btw, so are you!
