Move Through Procrastination in 2016

Dictionary:  Procrastination⎜prə, krastə ‘ nāSHən,  prō-⎜noun

The action of delaying or postponing something: your first tip is to avoid procrastination.

Unknown-1

As we come screeching to the closing moments and ending to our 2015 calendar year, the starting gun is fired and the new race begins as we mark our first steps for the next year—and the events, challenges and sometimes chaotic changes that somehow befall us by chance or fate. You decide.  At some level we are co-creating these experiences.  When we choose to participate at an even greater level of awareness we step into our lives with the power and trust that we effect our destiny and our future. We are Beings of Potential in waiting. We know that with pure intention we can change the bell curve—and can alter our life from average—to—extraordinary.  So, what stops us from creating our extraordinary future with awareness?

I would argue that all Beings in human form experience fear.  However—leaders and successful people—choose to walk through those fears (whatever they may be) anyway making it look “easy.”  But what about the rest of us?  Intelligent, focused, and self-directed, we all procrastinate usually at one time or another. True?

Last week, in a lengthy conversation with a friend, we chatted about procrastination.  He said, we all do it.  Even people who are well motivated and so-called ‘self-starters.’  We all have times that we are productive—and then less so.  Why?  Why do we all seem to procrastinate?  It may be a project we have desired for years.  It may be moving ahead in a new relationship or  ending one that does not serve us any longer.  It may be something that we have always wanted to do: write a book—or start a blog?  Publish a poem. Painting our feelings. Buy our first car.  Take a cooking class. Start an exercise routine.  Learn to dance. Or, simply  honor our authentic “us” to be the best version of ourselves we can possibly be without fear of judgment when we choose to  follow our passion from someone in our close circle.  Our family? Or friends?

I began to think about our words on the phone long after the conversation was over.   I remember in school; I was one of those last minute dead-line students most of the time.  Not because I wanted it to drag that unfinished assignment out forever . . .  why?

And, then I answered my own question.  It was fear.  Fear of judgment.  Fear of not getting a good grade.  Fear of not being “good enough.”  Fear of disappointing my parents.  There were so many unsaid and made up things in my mind.  Is this what the pervading persistence of our procrastinational phears (fears) produce?  In the end, it was the fear of not completing the task which over came the fear of the final outcome.  One fear was just bigger than the other and the assignment was turned in. That was then—and this is now.  It is not the class assignment, but our life and our future.  What do we want to create?  The slate is blank; anything we can imagine can be  ours. Our vision is there alive within and without—do we nourish the dream?

So as the starting blocks are set and the white chalk lines mark the track lanes, I ask can we walk through our fears with trust and confidence that we are enough?  That perhaps ‘the fear’ was placed there, as a test to ourselves? Is it there for us to challenge the very thing that scares us the most with ironically love of the Universe as our greatest and biggest ally and support however hidden it may appear?  I must confess, when your in the middle of the storm, it never seems that way.

It looks different for us all.  But, I challenge you to meet your biggest fear head on.  Step into “the new you.”  Be proud of who you are.  Meet the challenge with love knowing that you are supported on every level.  Gather your tribe that loves you no matter what unconditionally.  Could it be a soul family—rather than biological one?  Is that a healthy change for you? A sister from another mother who happens to be your biggest cheer leader?  Or that new friend form work that “gets you.” If you don’t have that—make that declaration now.   As the race into 2016 begins—know that there is really no race and no destination.  It is the journey we call life. Always changing, always challenging and always carrying us to the next level.  It is as fulfilling and amazing as we choose to make it. Pick up your kaleidoscope and twist the end of the rotating tube and create a new reflection for yourself.  What is your heart’s desire?  It will not look the same for you as for your sister, brother, parents or best friends.  Have the courage to just “be you.”

Set your intention. Write your vision and goals on a sheet of paper. Put it in an envelope and put it away in a drawer. Be aware that things may not show up how you “had planned.” Watch for the synchronicity.  Trust and have faith.  Take steps to move toward your new goals and visions. And then have the courage to make the leap when the opportunity arrives at your door.  Lastly, I include a favorite mantra.  Print it out—put it on your mirror and say it at least once a day.  This is co-creating at its best!

I wish you all a joyous—peace-filled and co-creative 2016 as you step into your true magnificence and leave the old fearful ways of procrastination behind in 2015.

Quantum Codes in the plants?

Several weeks ago I attended a group meditation.  It was powerful—and held on the sacred ground once occupied by the Seminole Indians.  The River that ran in backyard of the property and house brought its own unique energy to the land—as did the old growth trees and wildlife that lived around the water; there was a certain magic in the air.

As the women’s meditation started, there was nothing that seemed remarkable.  We, the group of women attending had each declared an intention—what did we want to get?  Most declarations were of a personal nature.  Mine however, was much more esoteric.  My belief, is that we are seeded from the stars.  We come full of potential and remembrance; stored within the quantumness of our DNA.  I wanted to access that knowledge. As the Master teacher and angelic presence has channeled to us many times, 2 + 2 = 4 only when the two is ready.

Was I ready?  My intention declared out loud, I believed much information lay waiting.  What exactly was I waiting for?  I could not say. Could I get in touch with such ancient and guarded secrets?  I asked silently, what would my answer be?

‘In the plants’ I heard.   What?  The codes are in the plants.  Confused—I answered through my third eye and thought about all the metaphysical/esoteric studies I had read and listened to for over a decade.  If our seed parents are here with us—that they could never ‘go home’—would it be possible that the codes were contained within the plants coming from the “dirt”—working in conjunction with Gaia—The Mother.

I had heard may times that Earth has a consciousness—and that she responds and reacts to us.  Most of our DNA resides in quantum state. Could our vibration, frequency, and intention activate such information for our biology too?  We are one with each other.  Our seed parents—still here in the Earth—feed us information when we are ready—through vibrational frequency and multidimensional codes contained within the plants?  How simple, right?  Nothing that could be synthesized, or created in the giant laboratories quite the way Mother Nature intended; modern chemistry naive in its thinking and understanding.  We had crossed the marker in 2012.  As our accession of human consciousness continues—we must have the correct codes—contained in our pure intention, activated at quantum level of potentials—when the Two (us) is ready. (And, by the way, the Two (2) is the duality number.  Human vs. Divine—Polarity)

I picture this information like some sort of computer code; but undetectable to our reasoning left brain linear-thinking mind. Unless, of course, we step out of what we “think we know.” Is this why the GMO movement is so dangerous?  The original codes are being removed.  Our cells are programed with and for original plant codes—information which we don’t yet understand—because they are quantum carried within the plants, invisible to our understanding and our true human nature; much bigger than we have any idea!  Is that why we are overfed and undernourished, out of balance (dis-ease)? Our bodies not receiving the right signals?

Then, I ran across this yesterday:  “Plants Are All Chemists . . . tirelessly assembling the molecules of the world.”  Was Gary Snyder’s quote conformation for what I had ‘learned’ that night?

You decide.  Use your discernment.  The answer is always within—so is the God particle.  Wisdom gleaned from ancient knowledge—carried with us today—released with intent: quantum codes within the plants waiting for us to acknowledge that we continue to play in fields we know very little about.  Not synthesized to one “chemical or substance” but the whole working together in a multi-dimensional way.

“Let me take you to the interior of the DNA itself and reveal to you the esoterics and the love that this process has within it.  For more than chemistry, this DNA event defines the core of sacred life, the love of God within the Universe, mixed with dimensional confluences and the joy of creation. DNA is the crossroads of God and man, the mixture of quantum and non-quantum, and it vibrates with the essence of the truth of the Universe.” ~Kryonth-39

Pondering the question of L-O-V-E

Love is a part of life. Relationships are part of our “primary food.” Love is a primary food and love is life.  A loving relationship—with ourself, others—and even with the world at large has the ability to nourish and nurture us on many levels. Relationships are a part of our wholeness and our wellness; they too can be healthy or in a state of dis-ease.  And, they are bigger than we perhaps are willing to admit; their importance cannot be underestimated.

Relationships seem at first glance rather permanent.  But, just like the Wheel of Fortune in the Tarot—the wheel continues to turn.  Sometimes we are on the top—sometimes we are on the bottom. Was that beginning or . . .  end?   Hum, could it be the rise and the fall or  rather the upward and downward movement? That continual change and push-pull polarity of all things in life that seem to jerk us around and shake our world.  Many of us have the perception that things won’t really change—or don’t only to wake up one morning and the world of our relationship we have known8059695 for months, years, or decades is no longer, and then if we dare— and are brave—may ask, what happened?

Relationships seem to be mini-cycles within a larger cycle of our lives.  Are they meant for our learning and evolution? Our lessons and growth?  We all have different relationships within the context of our lives. We are after all sons, and daughters—many of us are parents—including step and adopted children—or siblings—sisters’ or brothers’.  We also have relationships that are meaningful with our beloved pets that effect us in tremendous ways and are felt deeply within our hearts. I know my dynamics are different with my kids, my parents—my siblings and my friends; each carry a different “flavor.”

I haven’t shared publicly about my painful divorce ten years ago. I know for me, this was both shock and revelation and took me to a private voyage within the depths of my soul—and being.  I had been committed to my relationship—and my many years of marriage—and to my husband. I was in state of grief when it ended; devastated in fact by the news.  I thought it was forever; isn’t that what I had promised with all my heart and my vows some 25 years before?  Sometimes we are lucky and the forces bend and the complete fairy tale comes true and you live happily ever after; yet for many of us we don’t have that “happily ever after.” Why?

My husband had moved on—his journey—very different than what my own has been.  He with his new family; I as part of my enlightening spiritual passage and journey.  What else could I call it?  I’ve had the opportunity to grow soulfully beyond what would have been possible had my marriage remained in tact.   Was that the purpose?  Was the marriage complete?  Were he and I complete; the energy of the universe no longer supported this relationship or to keep the marriage together? Growth and evolution at the soulful level?  The ancient Chinese philosopher Chuang Tuz,wrote: “Heaven and Earth and I are living together, and all things and I form an inseparable unity.” The answer was, yes; we were complete.

For those who have experienced the feeling of love—there is no greater feeling.  We seem to walk around in an altered state for a period of time.  Is this nature’s way of bringing two souls together? A binding of fate or destiny?  Or are relationships catalysts for something bigger? Are they completed or finished in another moment in time, something begun before?  Is the God-particle inside us directing a way to complete this evolutionary cycle set in motion before we incarnated as a living-breathing human being on the earth plane and third dimension? A contract we signed with invisible ink? Perhaps I didn’t read the fine print, have you ever felt the same? And, Could the word “love”—have a different meaning that what we have assigned and use to define? After all, we know what it feels like, but can we really define it’s purpose? We know the love of a puppy.  The love we have for our parents.  The love we have for our friends.  The love for our children.  And, the love for our spouse, partner or significant other whether we are formally married or not;  we have made a formal commitment to someone; we are soulfully linked, and you know it—until we’re not.  Yes, there are often times children involved, but its purpose seems much grander; children complicit in our agreements.

Could L-O-V-E even be viewed as an acronym for something astronomical, celestial or astral?  Many things have a much different perspective when we view them from a distance.  Let’s say, standing on the observation deck of the Eiffel Tower, the Space Needle, the Empire State Building or whatever majestic observation deck you choose—even if it is the Grand Canyon, or from space.  We look down and from our new vantage point see the word clearly L-O-V-E.  Could it be . . . that . . .

L  is actually about = LEARNING: “The acquisition of knowledge or skills through experience, study, or by being taught: [AS MODIFIER]: an important learning process.”  (Oxford Dictionary)

From our higher vantage point, we could know and view all close and personal relationships as a learning experience. (And could even be expanded to our collective conscious and the world at large.)  Good, bad and ugly we learn something from every interaction we have—especially our interpersonal or intimate ones.  I heard once that intimacy could be defined as “into me you see.”  Wow.  If relationships are about vulnerability, trust and forgiveness is there any greater learning than the close relationships of our family or spouse—and ourself.  What better way to learn lessons of forgiveness, tolerance, and compassion.  To experience joy, bliss, and delight or the experiential emotional feelings of sorrow, sadness and heartache—or grief?  We may call in the vast multitude of lessons—unique, undefinable, varied.  Each personal and each customized for our greatest growth and Love experience.  A lesson of the heart that will be etched in our human experience forever as unique as a fingerprint.

O”  Thinking about the “O”, observation was the first word that came up,  but it seemed too passive and without movement; after all relationships like everything are dynamic and changing—and can be incitement for change.  What about “oracle”?  Could that be what the ”O” represented?  Oracles use their intuition, their innate knowing and their wisdom to advise others.  No, that didn’t fit.  When you are in a dynamic committed relationship, paradoxically we can be quite nearsighted;  able to see others’ and their folly’s and missteps, but rarely our own.  It is almost as our “sight” is blocked on purpose like a mirage—which seems to clear when the journey is complete or karma is finished.

During a walking meditation, it occurred to me, the ”O” was more like the yin/yang symbol—ah, the seen and unseen, soma and psyche—all aspects of one continuous process in the ever-changing elements: a unified system of relationships playing out with grand purpose.  (Spirit, Emotion, Mind/intellect/, Body/physical).

To the Chinese the Yin/Yang was the system and symbol of polar and complimentary aspects.  Relationships can be all that and much more.  This symbol stood for a system about motion, cyclic patterns and a process of transformation where life is everything or so it appears. Relationship’s fit there.   The balance of what we would accept as the harmonic and flourishing aspects—and the unbalance of distress, tragedy and heartbreak. A relationship elicits many aspects including courage and self-esteem, happiness, confidence.  Trust, fun, humor, and paradoxically—distrust, anger, fear, frustration, inner resistance, sadness, or jealousy. These are expressed and experienced both within ourselves and within the many relationships we share in life and in love.  Alas, maybe the “O” is all these bound into the endless circle of life . . . never finished . . . it is the halo we fail to recognize as the creations of divinity: eternal and forever in human form.

V  is for = VIBRATION- Atoms, fields of energy, law of attraction, and fields of possibility. All Vibration. Do these unseen electromagnetic forces play a major role in determining the internal properties of objects, people, places and occurrences we encountered in our daily lives; which would therefore include all of our relationships as well.  Everything, has an energetic vibration. For example, essential oils have a vibration – rose vibrates at 320 MHz! Thoughts, herbs, food, songs, art or literature.  Even the earth—a vibration to know to many as Schumann Resonance carries a certain frequency. ALL have energy and vibration. If you surround yourself with high-vibrating objects and think high-vibrating thoughts of love, peace and compassion, you cannot help but attract similar energies!

Relationships each carry a unique, shall we say, energy imprint, frequency, meaning and experience; after all no two energy patterns are alike.  And, ‘Energy is Everything.’ Are we “downloaded” information to complete these lessons—like invisible “tractor” beams—agreed upon before we descend on earth in our corporeal human forms? Or do we come with this preset potential—of what we would like and choose to experience for our learning and growth?

We all have heard the expression “good vibes— bad vibes” especially popular in the 60-70’s.  We clearly feel that resonance of vibration which a person carries at the moment; wavelike and changing. The obvious happy or sad. Vibration and energy patterns are part of our nature even if we are not aware of such things.  So, what is the trigger of attracting our “perfect mate?” The law of attraction states that “two people are brought together because of their vibrational equivalents and the because of their alignments they ‘recognize’ in each other.” Harville Hendricks says we attract the perfect partner based on our primary caregiver—with both their positive and negative traits. He states it is the negative, challenging aspects (low vibration) that we are brought together to heal and work through.  The end goal to reach the point of “Conscious Partnership”.

If we take the assumption, as all great Master’s have spoken of, that the Universe that we live in is a representation of the infinite presence of God who is love—then we have come into being to experience just that—love.  So, in our limited restricted presence of self, how do we experience this? When we participate in a relationship—whether it is with your spouse or the new kitten that showed up at your doorstep—is it all aimed at wading through your human stuff of the ego—to realize who we are and “open” our heart? To get out of head, put down our shields, be vulnerable and to experience this feeling we call love. To do this we  “call in” the best person for the job to assist us in this growth and learning experience; one that will challenge us like no other. (And, it looks different for everyone!) We are all at different stages, and one is not better than another.  It is just different. The V is the frequency of where our attractor beam is at the moment.  Always changing, always expanding—always turning—like the universe and the God particle within.  And until it is complete—whether one date or a lifetime it can serve as the greatest catalyst for something else.  We are always given the opportunity to learn, to value ourselves, and perhaps begin to understand our personal energy of self-love. If we get the lesson, we must not be afraid of using our internal guidance and know we are done; when it stops feeling good. We must say,  “I am not interested in participating in this kind of energetic exchange anymore.” After all, Loving myself is the willingness and ability to allow me the right to make my own choices for myself without any insistence that I satisfy others.  That’s unconditional love; and that’s a vibration worth loving!

“Where is your love? Why is your love?  What is your love?  . . . The grace of love heals that which has been divided.  The Grace of loves unites that which Creation has divided for the very purpose of awakening it’s own love.”

E = EVERLASTING OR ETERNITY—No matter how short or long our experience is with whatever relationship we call and choreograph, it is forever seared into the memory of our quantum DNA; our akashic inheritance stored in the Cave of Creation.  The lesson given in love complete; possibly unrealized in the moment as human. Retained in the god particle of our being. And since we are eternal and forever—so is this experience we call “Love.”

So, what is love?  It has been written about, sung about and studied since the beginning of time.  As humans, we are forever seeking, searching, holding, entering and trying to experience the love Relationship—of the divine—the feeling from “home”—  Love hurts and love heals.  Love is painful, sorrowful and brings sadness.  Love is also joyful, brings happiness and pleasure.  Perhaps, love is us searching and receiving itself—us. Both the simplest and hardest: the paradox of life; our forever quest. Love is our greatest lesson; love is the relationship with ourself.  We participate willingly in the game we call life. In the end, it is trusting, faith and compassion which are the glue of L-O-V-E. Our first and last love is  self-love; maybe that is the real test.

“Love unveils its dream before you as you enter into love’s scared sphere.  You too, stand unveiled and this begins Love’s evolutionary metamorphosis.” Pamela Eakins

My Father’s Death

Dear Fellow Travelers and Beloved Souls,

IMG_5926

Me, holding his horse as a young colt.

As most of you know from my Facebook post, on July 6th, I unexpectedly and suddenly lost my loving, gentle, and kindhearted  father.  He was 84.  The obituary in the paper began  . . . the gentle giant. . . I never saw him that way, but many did with his 6’6” stature. I just knew him as ‘Dad.’ The services were Monday, July 13th—the day after my 58th birthday.

At the funeral services many different ideas and beliefs surfaced as we all directly faced the question of death and mortality.  I realized this as a spontaneous mini-exposé in front of those gathered,  speaking at the microphone that my father would be back. I would know him, I continued,  this time playing on the playground, laughing and joyful—perhaps as my grandson—and we would recognize each other when I saw his eyes; the windows to the soul. Life is a continuous circle with —no beginning and no end.  We are eternal and forever and as old as the cosmos. In esoteric circles it is accepted  that we most often reincarnate in karmic  (old term) or akashic groups.  As close family and friends gathered in the small Weller chapel together; we witnessed, his journey as Charles complete. And those he touched were tearful as we said our good-byes; big or small, he had touched us all.

Who was he? And, who are we? Each milestone always begs questions, bigger questions from us all, does it not?  I share what resonates; it may or may not with you—but this is my truth.  God doesn’t change; we do. Try it on.  Does it make you feel better?  More at peace?  Or does it shake your belief system?  Make you uncomfortable?  It is not meant to; these ideas are meant to bring peace.  Remember these are just words and thoughts—nothing harmful or anything to fear—ideas, that’s all.

If we look back in history, we are aware of other belief systems that at one time were true—only to be replaced by updated ideas and new systems of belief.  Two of my favorites are when we as humanity believed the earth was flat, or that germs did not exist, only because we could not see them; they were there all along.  We think differently today.  Is this multi-dimensional view simply the next step in an evolutionary process of human consciousness and acknowledging the god within?  Perhaps a  growth, expansion and awareness of our individual divinity?  That we are the light?

Could it be as simple as putting down our elementary school primer—and graduating to a high school or college text?  I ask you to ponder this possibility.  Of course, there will never be any proof until we take our last breath and our own journey across the veil transferring our energy to our real state—our home; the great central sun.  A metaphor I like.  Great because it’s about our angelic magnificence.  Central because it’s inside us and everywhere. Sun, because we’re light and part of the creative source we call god. What a grand vision. We must each use our own discernment—even stepping back from what our intellect “knows.” These ideas come with a deep knowing and intuitive understanding about  our ‘temporary state’ here on the earth plane—certainly part of a much bigger picture than we could possibly imagine or possibly fit into our small linear 3-D brown corrugated  box on the earth plane within the multi-verses we have occupied.  Each life we live brings its own story, lessons, “tests”, wisdom and compassion. Entangled together like a collected ball of yarn with many colors and textures, our reality more akin to a grand and classic Shakespearean play.  Knowing when the curtain goes down, the one with the knife in his chest gets up and bows with the rest—going on to the cast party afterward to celebrate the success of the play.  Death is like that too.

In his life as Charles, my father was a poet and author. He was a horseman.  He was a father to four children—a husband—a son—and a brother.  He served his country. He loved his garden roses.  Red was his favorite color. He delighted in meeting others and hearing their stories.  He loved cars.  He loved to laugh.  He loved his family— fascinated in discovering his ancestral linage.  He loved to wear ties and his collection was vast and varied; fun and meaningful to him. He delighted in history, quirky humorous movies and the Washington Huskies, never missing an opportunity to don his purple and gold in his later years.    But, that is only part of our story.  It is a story of our linear bias and human mind.  It is a story that we tell ourselves and it has purpose.  But what if it was far grander than our human eyes could see?  What if this was all about learning and growing? The planet of free choice and discovering the magnificence inside and our god piece, raising the vibration and the consciousness of our planet? What if this is a catalyst for even more growth and learning; not only for us here on earth but for our cosmic family—in a mission of love?   What if it could open our eyes to something bigger—if we are only willing to look?

I know he is around me. I feel a glow around my heart.  There has been an transference of energy and he exists simply at a different vibration; he views my colors now.  I wish I could see his colors—but that is not my gift as Cathrine. Einstein taught and left us the iconic phrase ‘energy cannot be created or destroyed.’ Therefore, even science acknowledges he is around me always in that quantum multidimensional state, which restricts our full understanding of our grandness in our limited human form and perception of our multi-dimensional state.

There is a store in my neighborhood. Jezebels, carries many wonderful and unique cards. The words on one brightly colored note complete with hand-painted pink silk-screened roses and vines caught my attention one day.  “When we are born, we are crying and everyone else is smiling.  When we die, we are smiling and everyone else is crying.”

When I am sad, I think of this.  I think of all the wonderful memories we shared as Father and Daughter.  “You had a special relationship with your Dad.” my cousin wrote in his condolence card.  We did.  I hadn’t realized it was so visible to others; energy is that way. So is love. The last gift he left me was a birthday card; he loved cards.  As he lay in the hospital, my birthday was a week away.  Did he know he was not going to be here to share cake and blow out candles?  He sent his wife home to retrieve his cards; he selected one for me.  A young girl and her horse; that was me.   The early memories we shared were remarkably simple: trips to the feed store—getting hay—repairing fences—doctoring horses—the farrier—Dairy Queen.  Those easy simple times that meant the most to me as the years passed.  I told him so. He kept me sane I confessed.  The happiest memories of my childhood—and the freedom I felt at the “Barns.” Perhaps it was the same for him too?

I feel a glow around my heart.  I know it is him.  He is always with me.  We are eternal and forever in both directions. We have traveled many times before.  He graduated first.  One day it will be my turn.  We are not finished.  We have work to do on earth.  And, he will be back.  I know he feels me too and ‘hears’ this message.  I can talk to him anytime. Thank you Dad, for all the loving, simple, laughing and compassionate moments. Next time, DQ is on me!

Reunion 2015

th-21

Was Robert Fulghum right? Did everything we need to know we learn in Kindergarten?

The last time all 500+ gathered together, was graduation; the final time we would be together. Most of us had seen each other through our early education years—much longer that the three years of high school; we grew up together.  The 60’s and 70’s was its own turbulent time; a nationwide rebellion of sorts.  The smaller neighborhood elementary schools merged into two larger middle schools which became Bellevue High. Not just the  traditional Friday night football games where the stands usually filled or other athletic and school events, but since elementary school—in fact, since the beginning first day of our formal education.  Kindergarten.  We are connected.

It seems almost surreal when some of your classmates are unrecognizable and others you know in an instant.  I wondered, why do some choose to go to the reunion—and others never return—disconnected and ‘lost’ within the mix and energy of life. Or just busy and distracted by family and work? Why?  Is this a reflection of how we live our lives?

Some are no longer with us—on the other side of the veil.  Their call announced a different way.  Could they have been  wandering energetically, unannounced and invisible, among us in their new changed form? Others, no-shows, angry, or disappointed at how life dashed their visions, dreams and expectations; of how life was supposed to be?  Have they somehow judged themselves? Not recognizing the magnificence of their being? Not good enough perhaps? Or was it just those childhood pranks and games that kids ‘played’, the body of students—not realizing a bigger issue under the surface lay hiding? I ask today,  was this the expression of issues behind closed doors and no-tell secrets of disfunction held within family walls?  Were they crying out for help? Or, were all these lessons for us used to grow strong? The spring boards of childhood? A testing ground for bigger things to come? And, is this what shows up “today” —present moment; that baggage still carried? Those memes placed upon us, early, which shackled our belief systems and kept us in the box of what is—gripping and holding tight even today? Can we let go and be free of what was?

Some of us have been called across the country or across the world; Paris, Brazil, Florida, Atlanta, Arizona are a few. The graduation milestone of 40 years seems to have passed  quickly.  Where has the time gone?  Where are the youthful faces and brunette hair? So quickly replaced by wrinkles and gray locks—the noticeable part of how time has marched on. A peek in the circle of time; both directions of past and present.  Present in a mire of software engineers, real estate brokers, teachers, business entrepreneurs, attorneys, insurance brokers, and all those who make the infrastructure of professions and the world called for reasons unknown to them, but making a difference by all those they touch.  Do they realize their worth?  Did they follow their passion?

The personalities of each “Kid’ we passed in the hallway on our way to and fro, up and down the hall—to class, our lockers, the parking lot, the gym.  Have we really changed, or just blossomed into our souls eternal nature; some living our truths—others frustrated by others’ expectations of the journey we were supposed to live?  How little we knew when we rented those caps and gowns.  Our true lessons and the tests of life coming from our children, our marriages, our divorces, our hardships, our affairs, our health challenges, the passings, our triumphs—our self-realizations.  Hard fought for some—easier for others—we are who we are, but who is that?

The Saturday evening event on August 8th was a huge success for all who attended.  One quipped, ‘If I set the bar really low, I won’t be disappointed’  . . . a viewpoint on life?  One broken hip and one DWI, everyone seemed to have a good evening; formal group portrait to mark the occasion.  All brought their own expectations, exchanging pleasantries and catching up with the most important events four decades brings; some stayed the evening—others only a short time.

For those who missed the BHS ’75 reunion—I send you our compassion.  I send out love and I send out understanding.  It’s time to tell yourself a new story. You were missed; we are family.  Mark your Intention for August 2020. Rumor has it that it’s going to be at Juanita Beach.  It’s Chris Robertson’s contribution.  The judgements must be dismissed, and swords to rest,  we have all grown up just a bit.   We must drop the energy of the past—and move forward to create a new experience.  It is a milestone.  Life is always what you choose to make it.  See the bigger picture.  Re-write your story. Isn’t it time to build bridges—not walls?

As Robert Fulghum so astutely put it: “You may never have proof of your importance, but you are more important than you think. There are always those who couldn’t do without you. The rub is that you don’t always know who.”

I include his list below. I like the last three: 14, 15 and 16—what about you?  See you on Juanita Beach in 5 years—bring something to share!  Gratitude goes to the few who put it all together. Thank you! And so it goes . . .

“These are the things I learned (in Kindergarten):

1. Share everything.

2. Play fair.

3. Don’t hit people.

4. Put things back where you found them.

5. CLEAN UP YOUR OWN MESS.

6. Don’t take things that aren’t yours.

7. Say you’re SORRY when you HURT somebody.

8. Wash your hands before you eat.

9. Flush.

10. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.

11. Live a balanced life – learn some and drink some and draw some and paint some and sing and dance and play and work everyday some.

12. Take a nap every afternoon.

13. When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.

14. Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.

15. Goldfish and hamster and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup – they all die. So do we.

16. And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned – the biggest word of all – LOOK.”

Three Aspects of  Creating True Health and Wellness

Cathy-Silver-logo (2)

Last week I received several questions from a client regarding news blasts on the latest discovery about the fat gene—the best way to prevent cognitive function demise in the gym’s weight room—bottled water, pH and good and bad carbs.  Rather than go head to head with the single focused claims and promises, I wanted to address instead what I felt would be the most important areas concerning true health and wellness. Isn’t that after all, what we all want to know?  How can I create or maintain good health?

We are not merely mechanical objects and therefore any discussion must include physical, mental and spiritual aspects. This holistic or “whole body” philosophy is important as nothing can be separated—all aspects of ourselves are entangled on many levels in spite of what we “see” in the mirror.  I think realistically more and more health care professionals are coming to accept this reality, but the change is slow.

The authors of the various articles I received, all addressed hot topics of concern today: obesity, water, carbs, cognitive function, pH.  Yes, these are all important pieces of the health puzzle. But, it’s kind of like subjects in school.  The emails all seem to be targeting and asking you to choose one thing; like choosing to study just one subject—math, english, history, art or shop. . . etc.   We would never do that to our kids—and the health industry shouldn’t do that to us either.  It’s the synergistic energy of everything working together.

On the physical,  I don’t believe anyone would  dispute that if you put sugary processed junk into your body—you create an imbalance.  And, no nutrition professional would dispute the importance of good carbs—which really translate to whole fruits and vegetables in your diet. (Fresh, organic and non-GMO being at the top.) The problem is the Standard American Diet is “SAD” and sorely lacking vegetables and fruits.  So bad in fact, experts are now counting ketchup in the vegetable count! Really!?? Highly processed cheap food is junk.  It really only “looks like food”. So much of it has been refined and modified from the original form; filled with words we cannot pronounce nor dare ask what they do.  Normally added for the benefit of the manufactures bottom line—certainly not ours!  This includes most fast food pick-ups and processed foods.  Microwave cooking destroys and changes the molecular structure of the food before we even eat it.  Mother Nature cannot be tricked! At some level our “Smart body” knows this.  Maybe that’s where some of the cravings come from—lack of nutrients—a starvation of sorts, being overfed and under nourished? But why would we choose such foods?  I’ve been witness to many who have stayed in my house!  Keywords: Pick and eat the best organic whole food available for your budget. One way is not necessarily better than another.  It depends on our individual genetic and akashic heritage. The watchword here being, bio-individual; there is no one diet for everyone! Select and eat organic whole foods which make you feel your best and look your best. 🙂

It’s hard to believe, but we are really walking columns of water with most people only drinking water when they take their medication.  Bottled water comes with it’s own inherent set of concerns.  Plastic or glass—with many brands, really just bottled “tap” water, not to mention the energy and consumption of energy it takes to get that bottle to the table.  (In my opinion, it would seem prudent to spend money on improving our local municipal water sources sans the chemicals and added extras like pharmaceuticals.)  There are solutions that help with both pH and hydration.  My client had purchased the Enagic Alkaline-ionizer, SD 501 years ago from me which makes Kangen water available 24/7 in your home. I believe it is one of the best decisions we can make to maintain our wellness.  I’m including a link to a demo, for those who are not familiar and a separate review about the pH discussion from a unbiased esoteric source. I carry my Kangen water  with me wherever I go—including on the plane!  TSA doesn’t like it, but I have a prescription and they must allow me carry it through security.  I feel great—and look much younger than many my age.

Cognitive function is so important and exercise is brings oxygen to the brain and relieves stress.  Do what you enjoy—and exercise daily.  Releasing stress, toxins and endorphins are all beneficial.  At the same time, improving muscle tone and creating an over-all feeling of happiness and optimal health are benefits.  Just do something you love. If you love your workout—you will make it a life long habit and not a passing phase.  For some that may be yoga or pilates.  For others it may be a swim everyday.  For others, it is the weight routine and the gym workout.  Nothing is better for me than going for a walk or taking my bike for a ride in the fresh air and sunshine.  Body types are different and so are the exercise routines and their appeals—not one recipe for all.  As you know, the important thing is do something you enjoy. (smiling) And, as a side bar, high frequency sound therapy is now being researched for Alzheimer’s  disease.  New medical break-throughs are on their way . . . stay tuned . . . and it will be different that we imagined!

There are two pieces missing, and maybe the contributors have written about them in the past? They are the mental and spiritual aspects to creating health. Neither of these authors address the mind-body connection, but “no disease can appear without the active participation of the brain.” Emotional imbalances in our life lead to lack of internal harmony.   Unresolved trauma’s underlie all conditions, diseases and stresses—and have greater influence than we could ever imagine or give them credit for. It is our message from us to us that we have “this” condition.  Everything from ingrown toenails to arrhythmias has an unresolved emotional component.  Louise Hay talked about fear and anger in her book years ago—so the concept is not new in this country.  In fact, “Modern research is confirming what the Chinese have always understood: So much of all illness begins in the mind,” In the final years of the twentieth century, we are finally beginning to accept the long held truth that body and mind are not only connected, they literally talk to each other all the time, in an ongoing dialogue that dramatically influences your health and well-being.” This balance is reflected both internally as well as externally. The internal environment represents itself as our emotions, trauma’s, thoughts and our responses to them.  The external environment includes our lifestyle, our nutrition, our movement (exercise) our relationships, etc.

Let’s go back to the obesity/fat gene query from my client.  Are overweight individuals eating and choosing sugary, processed, foods in a quest or yearning for the unresolved trauma of childhood or unresolved emotional conflicts within the clan? Somehow trying to full the void to love?  We all know times when we eat or drink too much. Why? Is the reason to distract or used as a means of soothing ourself—or somehow as a way of receiving the love we desire because we are lonely or upset about something in our life.  After all, being nursed by our mother is our earliest form of receiving love.  But, what happens if we don’t receive that?   The physical body is designed to heal itself, but unable when the mind-set that created the condition (our story) is untouched. What is the message from you to you? After all, obesity is usually recognized as a form of protection—“excess fat that my body puts between my inner being and my outer surroundings indicates that I unconsciously seek and want to isolate myself, either through my communication with the outer world or because there is an imprisoned emotion or feeling ‘isolated’ in me that I don’t want to see.” . . . I want so much to love people, but I am so afraid!  Am I protecting myself from assault, remarks, criticism, or uncomfortable situations, notable those involving my sexuality?”  Earthly nourishment also represents emotional nourishment . . . am I filling that inner void?

This emotional mental aspects help bring awareness to some of the missing link.  In fact, Bio Decoders help you investigate and discover the conflicts that generated stress, leading to pain and illness. They assist in providing a deeper understanding of how and why people become ill, and how the programs of illness can be decoded and released from the subconscious mind, where the illness was programmed and stored.  Dr. Claude Sabbah contributed more than 40 years experience and expertise puts it this way:  “Love is the true healer in the work that we do to resolve the conflicts giving rise to the onset of disease.

The spiritual component is the easiest, and yet the hardest.  For belief and intent are at the basis now for healing.  In today’s energy and shift, the same remedy or process, for all but only a few are healed.  The future of healing yourself is here, but it’s never been as profound as it is today.  “The consciousness of belief is needed for what you have in the next step of self healing.”   Self-healing, self-awareness, affirmations; anything you’re trying to accomplish right now—even synchronicity—you have got to align yourself with pure intent and believe it before it will happen.

Here is a simple affirmation, (below) Start with this—you can make up your own, but begin with the “I AM”.  This is powerful stuff to create well-being. Look into the mirror and say:

“I AM HEALTHY. I AM YOUTHING. I AM A SPIRITUAL BEING AND PART OF GOD. I AM THAT I AM. I AM ON PURPOSE. I AM BEAUTIFUL BEFORE GOD BECAUSE I AM PART OF THE PLAN OF GOD—AND THERE IS JOY THAT RINGS THROUGH THIS!”

These are the aspects of creating true and lasting health and wellness. It is up to us—and it won’t come in the form of a pill.  We are bigger than we have any idea, with multi-dimensional parts; all parts must be included as we continue to move further into the new human consciousness.

Oh, and the cognitive unresolved conflicts associated with Alzheimer’s Disease have to do with the “unconscious desire to terminate my life, to leave the world once and for all or to escape my reality, due to a chronic incapacity to accept or to face and deal with this reality and certain situations in life because I am afraid and am finding it painful to live.  I therefore make myself insensitive to my surroundings and to my inner emotions. ‘I numb myself’, I become ‘Light-headed’, and life then seems easier and death more acceptable . . . ” Want to know more?  Email me at cathysilverhealth@gmail.com.

These were several questions asked and  posted on the Kryon Website from Lee Carroll.  I re-post them here as an unbiased source around the sometimes controversial and hotly debated topic of pH.  You decide for yourself . . . If you are interested after reading this . . . go to www.kangendemo.com. If you are still interested, email me at cathysilverhealth@gmail.com for more information or to order a machine for your home and family.  The health of you and your loved ones is priceless.

P.S. I have owned my SD501 machine by Enagic since 2009!

QUESTION (26): Dear Kryon, my first questions are regarding stabilized oxygen water. Is it really of any value other than to the people selling it? Is it a good idea to pH-balance our water before we drink it? What is the best water accessible to us, in general?

My second question: I’m extremely confused regarding what foods to eat and whether pH balancing is really all I’ve heard it is. Would you expound on this?

I guess my most profound question (to me, anyway) is, through the power of intent and melding with our total self, is any of this really necessary?

ANSWER: The answer to these questions are quite logical, but they don’t conform to a simple answer.

Three years ago we told you that there would be more water products coming your way than ever before. The reason? Because your heath workers would begin to understand how important this basic sustenance is for you, and the beginning of the “secrets” of real biological balance would begin to be found. We told you that you’d discover that what you had felt was needed and healthy would end up looking like the dark ages of knowledge. In other words, you’d say, “How could we have ever believed this would be good for us?”

Now all this is at your doorstep. There are many waters available, and the first thing you do is ask, “Which one is right?” What if most are right? Why do you wish to limit your options to just one? Yes, the pH balance will be new information that will be controversial, then be validated over time by the health of the individuals who drink it. The process is still not fully understood, since your health industry still gives no credibility at all to the body’s intelligent structure. That is to say that the body isn’t just a chemical machine that reacts. It’s a creative machine that actually calls upon processes that are beyond chemistry, and which change portions of your DNA that speak to all cellular structure, and which create new paradigms of reality for you . . . immune setups, and longevity schemes that you haven’t discovered yet.

Are some just making money from this new fad? Yes. So what do you do? The answer is obvious: Try samples of what is offered and decide for yourself. Don’t weigh what others say or experience as your guide, since many of these new products aren’t generic to all biology. This means that they will affect some more than others. This is knowledge we brought to you many years ago. Throw away the idea that all biology is the same, and that a cure is a cure is a cure. It’s not, and you’re going to begin to see far more individuality within medicine and health substances.

The same is true with food, and there will be many discoveries there as well. But through all of this, we’ve also given you information that says that above all, the power of your consciousness can change both food and water. You can balance both to allow for everything you need. You can even change matter, and create a situation where ingesting food or water that might make another sick will actually nourish you. This is the promise for those who wish to examine this issue and take it all the way.

So, greet the food and don’t worry about it. Change it to match your own biological structure. This is actually very old spiritual information, lost along the way of modern civilization.”

Summer Light Magic: A glimpse into our future here on Earth as the New Human Consciousness Unfolds

NVTech_arch0430

When we were children, most of us loved the fantasy stories of magic; stories which involved tales of light and dark, good against evil—happy vs. sad.  Sometimes stories were of magic carpets and genie’s lamps.  Other times we read stories about monsters, bullies, or the wicked—happy when the “good guys” won.   Whatever the story, these tales entertained us—made us laugh, smile or hide under the covers and caused our imaginations to  soar. That was then, this is now.

The real live version of humanities’ unfolding consciousness is continuing to expand—and this time, like fictional Harry Potter—the light is winning. And, unlike the stories that entertained us as children, today, it’s for real.  Humanities next volume  of our creation story opened back in 2012.  We have reached year two.  Humanity has chosen  light, love and compassion, but the dark continues to resist; I guess the light hurts their eyes!  (Smiling) We are being assisted by our seed parents with new information both for us individually and for Mother Earth—Gaia.  The team is assembled; we are playing our parts. . .  nothing you will hear about on the nightly news, lol.

Lee Carroll’s flagship Summer Light conference which takes place every June, offers—a glimpse of where the future of humanity is headed. And, I am here to report, we have much to look forward to; the future is bright!  The key was put into the lock in 2012, and the message was sent into the universes and galaxies—we are ready to be an ascended planet!  Now, as the energy continues  through the ‘magic’ of the metaphorical crystalline, magnetic and Gaia grids—we are receiving multidimensional signals via solar flares and quantum time capsules. We are shifting at the cellular level—the old souls awakening first purposed with intent.  This new beginning is releasing access to own our hidden innate knowledge, wisdom—and power— for we carry within an ancient universal akashic remembrance and it’s been ignited.   We are awakening as never before, to recognize our divinity and the light of the creator that is carried in us, within the depths of our quantum—yes quantum DNA.

The village of family that came together in Sedona included people literally from around the globe. Many professions and passions were represented.  Amongst the group gathered were engineers, and physicians.  Nurses and  writers. Artists, astrologers, readers and healers; world class musicians—not to mention the yellow-sashed volunteers and the 500+ attendees; myself included.  All led by Lee’s enthusiastic, humorous, and humble character leading a delightful and enlightening five days.

So, ‘Under the big tent’ with the cosmic entourage we were guided by the magnetic master whose wisdom is dispensed with the utmost love and where “family” gathers to support us, to remind us who we are and of our magnificence.  It is a boost to give us confidence to trust this new new energetic shift taking place on the planet which is benevolent.  Sometimes, its just getting out of our own way—and our BS (belief system).   We must trust that what lies beyond today is a future of grandness and GOD in your heart—if you allow.  (Funny how spirit put the responsibility on us.)   We are guided not to be fearful of things that change—especially when things happen that are so personal to us, as light-workers.  We were reminded, like tuning the dial to the new radio station, we must take the knob and twist it to find the new frequency—a metaphor for our surroundings and to get rid of the expectations that are old— for our entire platform has shifted.

We are seeing it in the children—and glimpses of new paradigms of medicine which was presented by Dr. Todd and they are exciting.   Pockets of new ideas and integrity must emerge within our politicians, but more will and is changing at every level.  This is the time we have waited for . . .  celebration at hand, we must embrace for all things new, for things will not return to the way they were. In spite of our efforts to hold on,  It is our job to open the door a little wider to allow for things we cannot identify.  The promise from spirit: “if you let your heart open, is it’s safe and it’s gonna feel so good—but different.”  Peace is coming.  New inventions will be here.  New ways of doing things are already taking hold. Other tidbits . . . included:

  • Intuition creates synchronicity—
  • Life creates the bell-shaped curve—unless . . . you create the intention and then you can skew the average just like the rain-dances done by the ancients—for physics is consciousness and consciousness is physics.
  • Consciousness has energy and is changed by randomness of chance—it changes the outcome.   The power of Human Consciousness is immense and has been measured by the Global Coherence Initiative.  Compassionate events that registered  on the instruments included the Death of Princess Diana, the 9-11 event in New York, the Tsunami in 2004 and rescue of 33 miners in Chile.
  • Large Paradigm shifts create the new normal.  ( There is a new normal, no more fighting, negativity or darkness. Practice mastery and show by example. )
  • Live your life with synchronicity and not just logic.
  • Know you are self-balancing.
  • Don’t fear the future.  LIGHT is winning.
  • We’ve got major astrology assisting in the shifting of humanity.
  • Phychoemotional Medicine, stem cell medicine, nutrition and vibrational healing will completely change the face of how we see and practice medicine.  Disease comes from the mind.
  • Medicine will begin to move from “wheels and gears” to energy based.  The mechanical model is changing and it won’t involve pills—it is not about chemistry, but a marriage of multi-dimensional energy with chemistry.  Not chemistry against chemistry, but energy instructing chemistry that exists in the body.  It will depend on belief, and the consciousness and the intent of the patient!
  • Getting old and aging will be something you read about in old newspapers.
  • The winds of change are here.  The quotient between light and dark has changed as only spirit can measure and see. When the planet starts to move forward, more cooperation is here.  Wisdom starts to increase and light is stronger.  We will awaken next time with more innate wisdom that any children have ever awakened on Earth.  We will be part of a new generation that will mystify the parents—just like the indigos have done this time around!
  • The sun has come out—the metaphor of the city on the hill starts to be built. (The city on the Hill representing a peaceful planet and begins to realize who they are.)
  • We are the pioneers of this age—and of the light—and we will be back for this is the fruition of thousands of lifetimes slogging through the old stuff—and we’re not going to miss the new humanity and ascended planet we’ve worked so hard for.  We’ll be back without karma and filled with wisdom.  “And, so it is.”

Why Not A celebration of the ‘Wise Divine Feminine’ Instead of Just “Mother’s Day”?

A few of my readers suggested I repost this blog from last year. With Mother’s Day coming up tomorrow, here is something to think about!

Cathy Silver's avatarCathrineSilver.com

Creativity 11“I am woman hear me roar–in numbers too big to ignore and I know too much to go back and pretend, ’cause I’ve heard it all before and I’ve been down there on the floor and no one’s ever gonna keep me down again” . . . This Sunday, the elusive holiday of Mother’s Day is upon us. Although, I have two sons, and am a mother in the traditional sense and definition, it seems too limiting today.  Do I dare ask, have we outgrown the definition or perhaps can we be open to a wider definition and perception of “Mother”?  Is the idea of “Mother” broader and harder to define than just those who have given physical birth or are raising children?  Is it possible to expand this yearly observance to all women and in a sense honoring “The Wisdom of the Feminine Divine”?

This Much I Know Is True—Signs From The Otherside Of The Veil.

th

I have been called intuitive, psychic, clairsentient, and an unconscious channel.  I believe there are no accidents—only synchronistic moments.  Some we acknowledge and others we fail to recognize.  So, was the case when Joe pulled into my driveway Friday afternoon.
His boss had sent him to replace my antiquated hot water heater which had given up the ghost and declared to me by the leaking water water in my garage, this Reem was complete.  It had given service to my home for decades—and it was time to move on to appliance heaven on my watch.  And with my blessings I prepared for a replacement. New energy perhaps?  In any case, Joe, a forty something plumber with dark curly hair and  a heavy northeast accent, wearing a bright red shirt,  stepped out of his truck and surveyed the situation.
He got to the task very quickly, but needed my approval for a new ‘ball valve’ shut off handle  and uttered something about having to turn off the water to the house which brought me into the garage and into conversation.  I stood there briefly my attention turning to the project at hand and moments later engaged on the details of the new installation.
An unseasonably hot sunny South Florida day,  I leaned against the door jam by the entrance to the laundry room door observing the progress as he worked, sweat poring off his forehead talking in light conversation as he wiped his brow and began to work his magic with the copper pipe fittings.  The subject had turned to more serious matters.  Joe shared he had been in an serious car accident five years earlier and spent ten weeks in the hospital—including 10 days in a coma.  “they didn’t even tell me for two months,” he said with anguish on his face.   I tried to hide my confusion, my mind scrambling, to carefully piece the story together.  He carried the scars on his arm—a plate on his shin—and halo marks on his skull.  He also carried something even more sobering than the visible scars and that was the death of his brother from that fateful,  sorrow filled night.  As much as he tried—he could not put those events out of his mind—emotion welling up, he turned away facing the new heater.
“Do you feel your brother around you?” I asked causally placing my hand on the corner of the dryer.   He turned around and looked at me, copper fitting in his gloved hand.  “No—well maybe sometimes”.  “You know I’m Catholic.” As if to say, I’m not allowed to believe in those things.  I smiled.  “Do you think he’s all right?”  I nodded. “My brother was a great brother”.  He continued uninterrupted, “protected me through high-school.  We even lived together.  He watched out for me.  I miss him.”
So, unfolded a deep conversation as the water heater installation progressed, and so did the ideas and beliefs upon which he was raised, in a safe round about way—we talked about his brother and Grandfather’s death;  the sides of his box came down just a little Friday afternoon. Beyond reason.  Beyond logic.  Beyond proof. He had outgrown his box, he knew there was more.
I don’t have to tell you Joe will never be the same after his experience—but now he was looking for the “why” in all this.  Life he felt was a struggle everyday.  I sighed.  “What if your brother loved you so much, that you and he had an agreement that he would go first?” I said.  He looked confused. “What if this is about opening up to something bigger—that cannot be denied?  What if he is still helping you?  Watching out for you and guiding you? What if he is with you right now?” It is strange he confessed, that I ended up here this afternoon.  “The laundry room is actually quite crowed,” I said smiling. Your Grandfather is here too.  How do you know that, he asked.  “Because, I answered, there is an agreement that a little piece of them stays with you– with us—just like you will stay with your loved ones when you leave your physical body.  But—you’ll be back.  I promise.  Just like he will.”
He will give you a sign if you ask, I assured him.  “Perhaps a song on the radio or a license plate just when you think of him –a coincidence too uncanny to be accidental.” I continued,  a sign on a truck or a coin.  “Coin?” He said turning around digging for something out of the back of his van.  “Yea—it will be something” I said.   “It would be a dime”, he declared.   Now it was my turn to be surprised.  As much as I feel and “know” the synchroncities never fail to surprise me.  The day before—I had been out running errands, and stepped out of my car– looked down and found a dime—heads up.  In the moment, there was something in me that knew it was a message; the feeling was there, but the meaning unclear.  I picked it up.  I can’t explain it in logical—left brain terms, for those that need explanation because it exists in that quantum state, but  I remember saying to myself, “I wonder what this means?”  Today, I had my answer.  “Hold on Joe, let me go grab the dime out of my car.  It is in the cup holder; safe.”  Still facing up, I handed the silver coin to him.  Joe looked at me, smiled and slid it into his pocket, he returned to his work.
We continued to talk about his brother’s death—memories of his grandfather—his son and his family lineage.   I know Joe was supposed to be there Friday; so did he.   I know why I had kept that dime safe.  It was to let Joe know that his brother was right there beside him. Never really gone.  He needed to hear that. I assured him that his brother was fine when he asked.   There is “no sting” in death for the one that passes.  It’s only us—left behind—missing them.  Sometimes guilt, anger, or sadness—torn—and confused and often wondering depending on our belief and our relationship–and circumstances.
I ask you to discern this message.  Maybe it resonates—maybe it doesn’t; either is okay.   This is about healing.  It is about love.  It’s about giving permission—and being open to the answer.  Because, death, our loved ones, and what we make up about all this is far more important and bigger than suffering.  God does not want us to suffer.  These are contracts and potentials that we agreed upon before we incarnated here this lifetime for our growth and wisdom far more immense than our 3-D reality allows us to behold.  I know there is grand purpose and we will reunite once again when we meld back into wholeness of source which in human terms is undefinable.  But the human soul—not really human at all– is there beside us always.  We just have to be open enough to look—and keep our heart open enough to feel—because they are there.  This much I know is true.

Bike Blog

On my way home–I stopped to capture the day!

The friendship began unexpectedly, but the magic was there all the time. Some where along that ride I realized the familiar relationship had grown. With the wind blowing against me and the sun on my face I peddled hard, breathing in the salty sea air and listening to the strong waves breaking along the beach—the sand barely visible from my vantage point as I peddled A1A. I had the option of the usual: my dependable car, or my bike. This morning I chose my bicycle; dodging orange and white road construction barriers and traffic, I held to the white markings which designated my lane.

There was a certain freedom I felt when I climbed aboard my silver steed. Uniquely the comradely had been building over the past four months and lately brought back memories of shared adventures aboard my very real horse; that strong heartfelt companionship of my chestnut mare so many years ago.

Instead of the clip-clop of hooves as we walked placidly together along the asphalt, it was the soft winding sound which emanated from the black steel gear-wheel and linked chain’s forward motion as it  circled around the circumference completing its rotation propelled by my determined quadriceps and hamstrings.

These days, I was the one exerting the physical effort not her, as the breeze forced me to peddle harder slowing my speed considerably in spite of working harder. My leg muscles called out.  My mind wandered.

Without the customary rack, I was forced to chain my bike to different Palm  trees in the hot sun.  Was this the birth of our relationship I wondered? Years ago, I securely looped the leather reins around the metal railing which served as sort of a modern hitching post running into a near-by Kmart for something to eat. Today, however, it was quite the opposite as I used a living tree for my technically inanimate object; worried when I walked away, would my silver steed be alright?

It’s funny how we attach, personify and build relationships with and to certain things. Surprisingly, my bike is my companion when I choose errands, meet friends for lunch or a quick trip to Whole Foods or local farmers market. I enjoy combining the exercise with being outdoors, and there is something satisfying about not always having to depend on my car. I have my bike routes and my car routes. Each offers its own advantage. Often hurried in my car, I select a different mind set when I swing my leg over the seat of my two wheel silver urban horse. There is a different pace and freedom that somehow brings solitude and peace when I peddle along in my own world and orchestrated break from the usual craziness of today’s hurried rat race. On my bike freedom really is a state of mind.
