Quantum Codes in the plants?

Several weeks ago I attended a group meditation.  It was powerful—and held on the sacred ground once occupied by the Seminole Indians.  The River that ran in backyard of the property and house brought its own unique energy to the land—as did the old growth trees and wildlife that lived around the water; there was a certain magic in the air.

As the women’s meditation started, there was nothing that seemed remarkable.  We, the group of women attending had each declared an intention—what did we want to get?  Most declarations were of a personal nature.  Mine however, was much more esoteric.  My belief, is that we are seeded from the stars.  We come full of potential and remembrance; stored within the quantumness of our DNA.  I wanted to access that knowledge. As the Master teacher and angelic presence has channeled to us many times, 2 + 2 = 4 only when the two is ready.

Was I ready?  My intention declared out loud, I believed much information lay waiting.  What exactly was I waiting for?  I could not say. Could I get in touch with such ancient and guarded secrets?  I asked silently, what would my answer be?

‘In the plants’ I heard.   What?  The codes are in the plants.  Confused—I answered through my third eye and thought about all the metaphysical/esoteric studies I had read and listened to for over a decade.  If our seed parents are here with us—that they could never ‘go home’—would it be possible that the codes were contained within the plants coming from the “dirt”—working in conjunction with Gaia—The Mother.

I had heard may times that Earth has a consciousness—and that she responds and reacts to us.  Most of our DNA resides in quantum state. Could our vibration, frequency, and intention activate such information for our biology too?  We are one with each other.  Our seed parents—still here in the Earth—feed us information when we are ready—through vibrational frequency and multidimensional codes contained within the plants?  How simple, right?  Nothing that could be synthesized, or created in the giant laboratories quite the way Mother Nature intended; modern chemistry naive in its thinking and understanding.  We had crossed the marker in 2012.  As our accession of human consciousness continues—we must have the correct codes—contained in our pure intention, activated at quantum level of potentials—when the Two (us) is ready. (And, by the way, the Two (2) is the duality number.  Human vs. Divine—Polarity)

I picture this information like some sort of computer code; but undetectable to our reasoning left brain linear-thinking mind. Unless, of course, we step out of what we “think we know.” Is this why the GMO movement is so dangerous?  The original codes are being removed.  Our cells are programed with and for original plant codes—information which we don’t yet understand—because they are quantum carried within the plants, invisible to our understanding and our true human nature; much bigger than we have any idea!  Is that why we are overfed and undernourished, out of balance (dis-ease)? Our bodies not receiving the right signals?

Then, I ran across this yesterday:  “Plants Are All Chemists . . . tirelessly assembling the molecules of the world.”  Was Gary Snyder’s quote conformation for what I had ‘learned’ that night?

You decide.  Use your discernment.  The answer is always within—so is the God particle.  Wisdom gleaned from ancient knowledge—carried with us today—released with intent: quantum codes within the plants waiting for us to acknowledge that we continue to play in fields we know very little about.  Not synthesized to one “chemical or substance” but the whole working together in a multi-dimensional way.

“Let me take you to the interior of the DNA itself and reveal to you the esoterics and the love that this process has within it.  For more than chemistry, this DNA event defines the core of sacred life, the love of God within the Universe, mixed with dimensional confluences and the joy of creation. DNA is the crossroads of God and man, the mixture of quantum and non-quantum, and it vibrates with the essence of the truth of the Universe.” ~Kryonth-39

(Part I) Emotions Affect Our Health and Our Path to Healing; 7 Ways to Help!

"Embrace all Emotions" --Buddha

“Embrace all Emotions”
–Buddha

By finding this blog, you have acknowledged on some level that you are ready for something bigger—the next step to taking control of your health or dis-ease. Isn’t it wonderful to know that if we co-create our condition—we have the power to co-create our health and wellness also?
I have been attending the University of Miami Clinical Nutrition series, and participated in a group sharing circle last Saturday. We batted around IgA function, food allergies/sensitivities and other more traditional thoughts about patient care and disease. But, when I raised my hand to suggest about asking what else might be going on (at an emotional level) in the patients’ life—I was met with silence.
This morning I had conversation, with a dear friend, in reference to her mother’s diabetes.  She replied, Mom always seems so happy and positive–but has she dealt with her pain and disappointments?  Diabetes is about longing for what might have been.  A great need to control.  Deep sorrow–and no sweetness left.  Yes, there was certainly some of that.  Last week, a colleague apologized for her large pile of Kleenex, and allergies until I shared my experience about the hidden message our body tries to communicate to our conscious mind.  Allergies she read: Denying your own power.  Who are you allergic to? Her eyes met mine with OMG revelation. What about Marla’s emotional eating, Lucy’s migraines, Daniel’s depression and Andrew’s back? Also clues—you bet. This afternoon in a serendipitous discussion with an older woman, speaking of her husband and his illness, she confessed, “I don’t think he ever acknowledged his emotional issues.”
We need harmony within our system. There is an emotional component to our dis-ease; an ‘indicator’ we are not in balance; like the oil light in our car. I am not alone in this belief. This dialogue is simply a method to bring the energy to the surface and raise the collective consciousness—exposure—and create an even greater awareness to a larger “truth”; we cannot have lasting health until—our emotional, mental, and spiritual sides are acknowledged as part of the healing equation.
Visionary pioneer, Louise Hay has addressed the mental patterns of fear and anger in much of her work. In her book, You Can Heal Your Life. She writes, “Anger can show up as impatience, irritation, frustration, criticism, resentment, jealousy or bitterness. These are all the thoughts that poison the body. When we release this burden, all the organs in our body begin to function properly.” She continues, “fear can show up as tension, anxiety, nervousness, worry, doubt, insecurity, feeling not good enough, or unworthiness.” Isn’t it time to take this out of NEW AGE thinking and insert it into MAINSTREAM management? And, if mainstream, isn’t ready, why wait another 20 years for science to prove what innately we already know! The body communicates as a whole, each part connected to the other, in fact, communication flowing to every part of who we are. In her book, Your Body Speaks Your Mind, Deb Shapiro writes “the underlying psychological or emotional issues usually relate to the purpose or the function of the affected part. Unconsciously you are participating more than you realize.” When or what does it take to address these underlying causes so often discounted and dismissed? The choice is yours. Part of that illness maybe opening our hearts, and learning to connect with what is important in our lives; what is our true priority?
I know as part of my white bread culture—NOTHING was ever discussed growing up. How I felt about my grandmother’s death, my father being laid off by Boeing, my sister’s open heart surgery, my aunts cancer, my mother disdain for her in-laws (my grandparents) . . . and more recently my divorce several years back. All families come with issues; no one escapes these lessons. We all have a story. I have witnessed emotional breakdowns over loss, violence, sexual abuse, alcohol, drugs, and death to start. (And that doesn’t include the small stuff.) We’ve gotta start letting it out! Christiane Northrup, MD humorously points out and illustrates so colorfully when she asks: “What’s that over there in the corner? OMG, it’s a feeling; someone quickly, go stamp it out!

Next week: Seven steps that will help you . . . rooted in Universal knowledge and intuition. Smiling—Stay tuned! 

Obama Care or Wellness for Me? It’s time to Paint a New Picture!

Healthy 2

Lets change our mindset. A declaration to ourselves.  I’ve been thinking about our dysfunctional sick care  or insurance reform that’s been in the news almost daily and know this is not the answer. American’s are smarter than this, and it’s time to take control of our own destiny. The question is really, how do we stay out of the sick-care spiral? Our current system  is a failure to create true health.   What about instead, a  pro-active choice to live a life of vitality and wellness?  The WHO (World Health Organization) defines health “is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity.”

Ask yourself in this moment,  what do I need to do to insure myself a life of wellness– Today? (Not next week, or next month or next year or when I get around to it or after I have a heart attack or diabetes.)  The responsibility has to shift to us and our choices in the moment; not some future situation or event.  I always tell my clients it’s easier NOT to have to DIG YOURSELF out of a ditch or mud hole–you know when your boots are stuck.   What does it take to avoid the ditch and mud?  Everybody can live a life of wellness–not just a few.  Just like the air we breathe–there is not a limited number of people who can be well at one time.  There is  no preset number or rotation or take a number; the responsibility  becomes ours.

Educators and parents have used the philosophy of  Natural and Logical consequences for years.  I used it on my own children. It goes like this: If I choose option A (this could or will happen) and if I choose option B ( another set of potentials must happen) but the responsibility ultimately falls on our shoulders or in the case of my kids–theirs– and I have no one to blame, but myself!  Nifty for kids–more to think about when it us!

Hum, let me see, what do I get to do today that supports me being healthy? That gives me vitality? That allows me to fulfill my passion, purpose and desires? That creates positive energy in my life?  How can I shift the box I now live in to create this space?

I  love the metaphor of the painter and his canvas.

Could I use a few new paintbrushes to paint another canvas? Is it time to bring out the paint set, set up my easel and dream for a minute about a new way to paint? Is it the paint, brushes, technique or time of day–what I wear or don’t wear that inspires me to paint without the constraint of what I was taught? A roller, a rag, stones, leaves, splashing, throwing, dripping, spinning, mixing our medium and colors to recreate and unlearn all that we we taught in Art School?  Maybe forgetting everything and painting with our innate wisdom, a more beautiful and profoundly moving piece of art and portrait?  What if our paintbrushes were our tools for wellness–and the canvas was our body.  Are we able to UN-learn what we think we know?  How open are we to a new technique not restricted by someone else’s belief and truth moving forward without our fears in our personal new paradigm of wellness.  Drop your resistance. We can do this.  You can do this! Begin today! Do whatever it takes to wipe the cobwebs off your easel.

Pick up ‘one new color’ that calls to you–and a small brush. The brush represents a more healthful lifestyle choice;  the color; our action. Could that be a pair of walking shoes to walk around the block? Or eating something green? Or having a apple with lunch or skipping the drive-thru or packing something from home because its organic? What about  becoming gluten free or reading labels and watching our ingestion of sugar laden foods? Or drinking more water? Each of us is on our own time schedule–and our old canvas we’re painting over is sometimes cracked and worn, but the new masterpiece is well worth the effort, if we can just use our imagination and see in our minds eye, what is possible. Now download some Mozart, write your intentions and make a dream board.  The Universe always tells us “yes”. Choose one big thing and one small thing that you can do today to begin this journey! Shut your eyes and feel the joy and vitality shifting with your intent and declaration. Congratulations, you’re on your way!  The master is you, soon to be unveiled!

Watermelon—Good for more than just Picnics!

Fresh ripe and delicious

Cooling refreshing summer ripe watermelon

I am more apt to think of Watermelon at picnics or seed spitting contests at camp or a lively family reunion or used to entertain the kids.  But, watermelon is a great addition to our diet—especially as the weather gets warm and we enjoy our summer days. Their high water content makes them good refreshments on the hot days as it is considered an “cold” food and one that treats the bladder, heart and stomach meridians.

Who knew, watermelons are native to Africa, and were considered a valuable and portable source of water for desert situations and when natural water supplies were contaminated. Watermelons were cultivated in Egypt and India as far back as 2500 B.C. as evidenced in ancient hieroglyphics.

Watermelon contains Vitamins A and C, iron, and potassium.  Surprisingly, the red watery fruit has only half the sugar of an apple, but often times tastes much sweeter because sugar is its main taste-producing element—the rest of course—water!

Watermelon relieves thirst, mental depression, and edema and it induces urination.  It is a good source of lycopene and is great for one’s vision.

Add watermelons to salad, salsa or juice them. Watermelon is refreshing and nourishing any day. Try to make it a regular part of your diet, especially while in season.  Check out the Watermelon Cooler and smoothie.  But most of all indulge–and smile as you enjoy a summertime fruit that not only tastes good, but is good for you!

Watermelon Cooler

1 2-inch slice of watermelon

1/2 cup of fresh organic strawberries

1/4 fresh fennel bulb

1 lemon

mint for garnish

Using your juicer, process watermelon, strawberries, fennel and lemon.  Stir and pour into a glass.  Adjust ingredients accordingly to the number being served! This recipe serves one.

Watermelon Smoothie

1 cup watermelon chunks

1 cup organic blueberries

1 cup SO Delicious coconut yogurt

2 tbsp. raw pumpkin seeds

Put all ingredients into Vitamix and process.

Enjoy, be well and relax!

  •   Every part of the watermelon, including the seeds and the rind is edible.
  •  Watermelons are ideal for the health as they do not contain any fat or cholesterol and are high in fiber content.
  •  Over 1200 varieties of watermelon are grown in approximately 100 countries across the world.
  •   Watermelons are very fragile and cannot be harvested with the help of machines. Instead they are carefully tossed by workers on a relay that runs between the fields and the truck.

A look “behind the scenes” – Juicings’ magical phytonutrients

Firing up my juicer once again, I have begun to explore new recipes. This is a delicious apple-beet juice with lemon, pear and ginger that comes out of a juicing book by Pat Crocker. I was giving a “Sugar Blues” talk at the Hollywood Healing Center and wanted the refreshments to reflect and represent alternatives to the usual fare of snacks. I share one today and give you a few behind the scenes look at the ingredients and what they offer our cells, tissues and well-being.  For those unfamiliar with the benefits of juicing it is certainly worth exploration.

Beet Juice Cocktail

Hippocrates: “Let thy food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”

2 apples
1 pear
3 beets
1/2 lemon
1 – 1/2″ piece gingerroot

Put all ingredients through your juicer. Stir and pour into glasses and enjoy!

Did you know???  This is partial and abbreviated–just to give you an idea what a fresh-organic produce offers . . . who knew!

Beets: are antibacterial, antioxidant, cleansing. They strengthen and nourish the liver and gallbladder. They are an excellent source of potassium and are cleansing for the liver, kidneys and gallbladder.
Apples:  are a tonic, digestive, diuretic, detoxifying, cholesterol lowering, anti rheumatic, and liver stimulant. Fresh apples help to cleanse the system, lower blood cholesterol levels. They help to eliminate toxins and are a good source of vitamin A, B, C riboflavin as well as the phytochemicals pectin and boron.
Lemon: this small yellow fruit is amazing. To name a few benefits consider they aid in digestion, act as a laxative and diuretic. They have both antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. Lemons support liver function improve the absorption of minerals, cleanse the blood and are useful in treating high blood pressure.
Ginger: contained in half of all Chinese and Ayurvedic medicines, they were listed as a taxable commodity by the Romans in 200 A.D. How can you begin to incorporate ginger into your modern lifestyle? Ginger is great for nausea. It relieves headaches and arthritis as it is an anti-inflammatory and circulatory stimulant. By increasing circulation, it helps effect a systemic cleansing through the skin, bowels, and kidneys. It also destroys many internal parasites and helps to normalize blood pressure.
Pears: used to energize the stomach, spleen and lungs. The pear is used in the treatment of diabetes, hot cough, gallbladder obstruction and constipation. The pectin in pears reduces serum cholesterol and cleanses the body of environmental and radioactive toxins.

Just as this recipe and these fruits and veggies contain many micro-nutrients that the causal observer  fails to notice on first glance, and that I might add are not contained in a particular supplement, whole food nutrition will bring benefits beyond what we think we know about eating healthy.  Each recipe and fruit delivers nutritional benefits in the way nothing else can. Our body and its innate wisdom together with Mother Natures innate wisdom provide a much higher vibration for our body than the man-made manufactured “educated” guess that selectively segments one or two nutrients and calls it the next great miracle.  Isn’t time we get back to basics? To me they work in such a way to create the symphony and composition of total health and wellness; one that we cannot possible out guess! There seems to be no short-cuts and no magic pill!  See if you can begin to open your mind to the possibility of fresh juicing and take your health to the next level!

Be well!

Detoxing . . .

A time-tested brand!

A time-tested brand!

You know it is nothing to schedule an appointment for our car; taking it in for routine preventive maintenance is totally within our accepted cultural meme. Changing the oil, or air filter is expected. But ask someone about a detox and all sorts of triggers and resistance come up for most in our society and those who suggest such ideas are often thought of as crazy, deranged or nut cases!

I pose this to you–What if an annual, or bi-annual detox for your colon, kidney’s and liver might possibly save you from trouble on down the road?

I know the argument from the medical doctors, most who have never ever had a nutrition class, argue that the body is designed not to need such measures?

I would propose that:

1.) our body’s weren’t designed to depend on pharmaceuticals and drastic interventions and

2.) we weren’t meant to live in such a toxic, artificial, and chemicalized world exposed to all sorts of substances that put real strain on our body and in-turn our organs which filter these unknown and unnatural substances daily– assaulted to such extreme irritation and early degeneration? (for a minute consider the pesticides, genetically modified unlabeled ‘food’ or the processed artificial ingredients and chemicals we cannot pronounce added to the food we consume each day).

So, with spring here, and everyone looking for ways to maintain or improve their health and vitality, consider a detox or cleanse.

I am getting ready to do another–this time a kidney cleanse–why not–a little preventive maintenance on my car goes a long way–so why not me?  The cleanses support my intention of living a long healthy productive and purposeful life!  What about you?

Superfoods; Great for Mind and Body; Health and Vitality

Increase the vital force and energy of one's body.

Increase the vital force and energy of one’s body.

Busy life, busy day–I’m going to do a short post on three more SUPERFOODS that I enjoy everyday!  They are just one of the additions that keep me vitalized and energetic each day!

4.) Hemp Products (eaten in their RAW form) The seeds are packed with 33% pure digestible protein, and are rich in iron, amino acids and vitamin E as well as omega 3’s and GLA.* Hemp is a perfect food for growing children and adults to increase protein intake.

5.) Camu Berry–Highest Vitamin C source on planet. Great for rebuilding tissue, purifying blood, and enhancing immunity and energy. Camu berry is one of the best anti-depressants, immune building, and eye-nourishing superfoods in the world.

6.) Bee Products (honey, pollen, and propolis) –Bee pollen is the most complete food found in nature containing nearly all B vitamins especially vitamin B-9 (folate) and all 21 essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. Honey, in its organic/wild, raw unfiltered states is rich in minerals, antioxidants, probiotics and enzymes, and is one of the highest vibrational foods on the planet.  If your metabolism can handle sweeteners, honey is the best. Russian research indicates that honey is a longevity superfood.

Remember health is a journey not a destination.  Excellent health is about more than just feeling good.  Vitality and strength allow us to be active in our families, our communities and our world giving us the ability to achieve much more than when we are “sick & tired.” It is a gift you give you yourself and others.

*GLA (gamma linoleic acid) Is an essential omega-6 fatty acid.  We become deficient in GLA when large amounts of sugar, trans fatty acids (margarine, hydrogenated oils), and red meats and dairy products are consumed.

Be Well–in love and light,

Opening the Window

A metaphor for "life"?

A metaphor for “life”?

My friend Debbie opened the champagne; a bottle left over from her birthday. We were going to eat out, but I had all the makings of dinner. Around her dining room table, and over my simple grilled steak and sweet tomato salad, we seemed to naturally float into the world of “no time”. Our conversation spawn over many topics, all substantially of depth: divorce, death, kids, love life, and mysteries of the universe that included questions surrounding astrology, soul relationships and Akashic records.
She drew a book from her library. Write about this she proclaimed and read aloud: ” Two common misconceptions are that peace is a calm, placid state with little feeling and that intense feelings are not spiritual.” Debbie continued, “these misconceptions have nearly succeeded in killing us. . . Intense emotions are a natural part of life and the emotional body must vibrate to live. Strong emotions, both good and bad, create the vibration which allows us to connect with Source of energy, love and salvation. Fervent anger can be a powerful motivator for social change. Jealousy is a secret message, exposing unworthiness. Hurt feelings are the unacceptable parts of us, calling for love and illumination.”*

I nodded. I had spent a lot of time reflecting and questioning the ok-ness and appropriateness of just such topics and reactions both in the world of personal transformation and spirituality. The topic seemed even more important as we have moved into the new energy and new paradigm model.

Authenticity for me meant dropping the old that no longer serves and truly heal those parts of us that have been stuffed and stored down deep within our psyche; the illusion that they have been locked safely away in some vast storage unit. Not realizing that they are triggered when the monthly, quarterly or annual statement arrives and we are forced to write a check triggering off a cascade of feelings and emotions that have nothing to do with our current circumstance or event that sends us off crying, mad, hurt or in anger. On the extreme end, I see it as road rage, domestic violence and abuse–on the other end I see it as unhealthy relationships, passionless careers, addictions or self-defeating behaviors reflected in things like our food choices and eating patterns. All somehow related?

My childhood home was oftentimes filled with such confusion. The unspoken undercurrent and unhappiness loomed. We were not allowed to voice our displeasure or disagreement. There was no healthy way to communicate verbally. My Mother would often run to her room and slam the door. The harder the slam, the angrier she was. My Father never said a word or raised his voice. Only years later did I find poetry was his escape; unconsciously drawn to deal with this own pain–finding some relief as he wrote words on a yellow legal pads, paper napkins or crinkled envelopes. These learned dysfunctional behaviors, habits and beliefs I notice perpetuate in our family today among my siblings; sighting the elephant in the room is easy. Can we talk? I see it woven in the tapestry–on the other side, my ex-husband’s Jewish roots brought hot-blooded exchanges. That didn’t work so well either!

So, how do we learn to love ourselves and gain courage to move through the hurts and beliefs to neutrality where we are no longer so affected and able to face the fears directly? I suppose that is the million dollar question. I know that pretending these feelings do not exist does not work. It is not authentic or loving, and leads to our dis-ease and depression–heart attacks and cancer. Just pick up a copy of Louise Hay’s book, “You can heal your life” notice each label.
I know there are no magic bullets or wizard’s wands. It takes real work. Accept what isn’t working. Make a commitment to yourself. Ask for help. The answer lies within. Are we willing and open for the answer? Find a safe place or trusted friend. Remember, we always have choice. We always have the power and freedom to write a new story. The very appropriate metaphor of placing our mask over our nose first, before we can help others is important. By living our truth our way, we begin depositing rather than withdrawing from our emotional bank account. Once we examine our beliefs and take responsibility for our actions, and thoughts does it become possible to live in joy, peace, happiness and love. It is ours for the asking and willingness to walk through another doorway. Then old triggers become less and less like hurricanes; rather like breezes through your open window. Our new higher vibration will guide us closer to our true nature. What will we chose today? Each moment is a new opportunity!
“Not until the pain of the same is greater than the pain of change will you embrace change.”

-Dave Ramsey

The journey is the reward!

“Greens” A New Food Group?

Forest green, avocado green, lime green, Kelly green , electric green or moss-green to name a few “greens”. Each conjures up a different image. Each descriptive color green may trigger a unique memory; each may hold a different meaning. Did you know Green is the second favorite color after blue, and occupies more space in the spectrum visible to the human eye? Energy practitioners know green as the color of the heart chakra. Interior Designers know it relaxes us, soothes us and gives as a sense of harmony. Nutrition coaches know it for the color of health and well-being! Ugh, your Mother was right? How does “green” support our health and well-being?

Ah, well-being? Was Mother Nature trying to tell us something? Today, For all of its recommendations and accolades, green is most commonly missing in our daily diet. Green Vegetables, especially dark and leafy are essential to a healthy body and healthy immune system. Green vegetables help to replenish our alkaline mineral reserves and help to filter out pollutants. They strengthen your blood and respiratory systems. Nutritionally greens are very high in calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, phosphorous, zinc, and vitamins A, C, E, K. They are loaded with fiber, folic acid, chlorophyll, micronutrients and phytochemicals. ( Various bioactive chemical compounds found in plants, such as antioxidants, beneficial to human health.)

My Delicious Green Shake

Consuming more greens gives you a healthy glow, beautiful skin, & more energy. It helps your body with blood purification, cancer prevention and improved circulation. If that’s not enough, greens improve liver, gall bladder and kidney function. They clear congestion especially in the lungs by reducing mucus. And as an added bonus, they promote subtle, light and flexible energy.

There is a wide variety to choose from and easy to incorporate into what you eat. Enjoy them often. My personal favorite is my green breakfast shake. Easy, quick, portable, delicious, energizing and fun and a great way to start the day! CHEERS! “To your good health.”

Another variation of my green smoothie:

3-4 handfuls of organic baby spinach
2-3 large organic kale leaves, rinsed
1 avocado (including the pit if your blender can handle it.)
Scoop of raw organic powered greens such as Green Organics International –www.thepowerofph.com
1 frozen banana
1/2 -3/4 frozen raspberries
1/2 organic cucumber sliced.
And fresh lemon and some Organic Flax Oil to taste if you like

Blend and enjoy! I make a big pitcher and put the extra in jars in the fridge. Always ready for a quick snack, or with me in the car. 🙂

Be well,

Cathy
