Moving Beyond Fear

As I pulled into the parking lot of the strip mall along Commercial Blvd, I sensed an uneasiness.  I was surprised—even at myself.  I had come for Salsa lessons. Something, I had wanted to do for a long time. Why would something I had looked forward to suddenly bring me unrest?  I stopped and turned off the ignition to the car.  I took a deep breath, staring straight at the dance studio in front of me from my parking spot.  Silently asked myself—what was I afraid of?  Could it be going by myself?  After all, I had resisted movies alone. No, I reasoned.  I had traveled extensively by myself; even driven across the country.  I had not only survived my divorce ten years prior, but in fact, felt I had thrived—stepping into my purpose and feeling a sense of self empowerment;  intuitively knowing I had grown into a more authentic-ness of my being.  Out of college, I had been hired as a sales representative for Pfizer.  On more than one occasion, I had been reduced to tears by the arrogance and rudeness of the physicians I called on; yet I persisted and excelled. I had gone back to school in my 40’s with eighteen year old college kids and found camaraderie and pure enjoyment.  It was funny  to me though,  how little things can trigger our insecurities in spite of how right certain things felt.  I had “survived” transformation training even becoming one of the leaders—of sorts.  A captain on a variety of athletic teams in my formative years was also a strength I seemed to possess.  I tossed the fear aside, and opened the car door. I focused on what I wanted to accomplish and why I had come.

I have gone back four times now—and each time becomes more comfortable.  We are all beginners—learning something new—and for my part having fun.  I recognize faces—and the other students recognize me.  Will I become a serious dance student?  A new interest?  Perhaps.  Right now, I will continue but, I ask, what if I had not taken the first step?  What if I had backed out and driven away?  How many times have we all done this, because the unknown prevents us from something positive?  I write this only to encourage you and to say, we all have our moments where we are unsure about new adventures, new jobs—and new opportunities.  What would you do if you weren’t afraid? I encourage you to take the leap.  You’ll be glad you did!

Free, Fabulous and Loving Me! Happy Valentines Day.

Self Love 3Last week as I was dashing to meet a friend for dinner.  I realized how free I was at this time in my life.  I had no children to worry about—no spouse to consult and no curfew.

I believe that just as a relationship gives us growth and expansion, so does not having one. No relationship allows for our growth and expansion in a different way. It is an appreciation of ourselves. I am not talking about about conceit, self-importance or narcissism. It is the discovery of our inner core and strengths; who we are:  Our talents. Our Likes and dislikes. The joy of being alive. Our beauty.  A period of getting to know and love our authentic self! To know that we are enough—and to love ourselves is something worth celebrating—not just one day, but 365 others as well.

For me, the journey has been one of unlearning.  I was a wife and Mother for many years. (still a Mother—but my adults kids live in different parts of the country and are not underfoot.) One of the first things I used to think about—besides getting everyone to school on time, was, what shall I fix for dinner?  I don’t do that anymore.  Funny, I always used to joke about wanting a “wife.”  You know someone to do all those errands, deliveries and chores—right?  Does anyone relate?  Now, it is for me.

Someone might call that self centered.  Years ago, I would have recoiled from that label.  It was always about someone else, placing myself second, third, or fourth in the line of family demands.  Most women flinch from the thought of personal descriptions that include the word self.  As Sarah Breathnach so eloquently wrote, “this self-defeating modesty eliminates a lot of flattering adjectives: self-poised, self-assured, self-confident.  So why do we shrink from self-admiration?”

Perhaps, at some pivotal moment growing up, our Mother or other authority figure humiliated us and viewed our healthy wants as shameful and selfish; we were made to feel wrong.  So, isn’t it about time, we begin to set our boundaries and put ourselves first?  I am not suggesting we neglect our children or spouse, if you have those relationships currently in your life, but I am suggesting we begin to reframe our wants, desires and needs, and begin to radiate the vibrant glow of an intelligent, loving, self-possessed woman, shinning our light out unto the world!

I trust and know that when the timing is right, I will again be with a true life-partner.  One that supports my desires and honors me for me.  Until that time I am enjoying my freedom and all that comes from living my truth, honoring my authentic, artistic, creative, caring and compassionate self.

“What a desire!  . . . To live in peace with that word: Myself!” (Sylvia Ashton-Warner)

Happy Valentines Day to the best parts of you!

Move Through Procrastination in 2016

Dictionary:  Procrastination⎜prə, krastə ‘ nāSHən,  prō-⎜noun

The action of delaying or postponing something: your first tip is to avoid procrastination.

Unknown-1

As we come screeching to the closing moments and ending to our 2015 calendar year, the starting gun is fired and the new race begins as we mark our first steps for the next year—and the events, challenges and sometimes chaotic changes that somehow befall us by chance or fate. You decide.  At some level we are co-creating these experiences.  When we choose to participate at an even greater level of awareness we step into our lives with the power and trust that we effect our destiny and our future. We are Beings of Potential in waiting. We know that with pure intention we can change the bell curve—and can alter our life from average—to—extraordinary.  So, what stops us from creating our extraordinary future with awareness?

I would argue that all Beings in human form experience fear.  However—leaders and successful people—choose to walk through those fears (whatever they may be) anyway making it look “easy.”  But what about the rest of us?  Intelligent, focused, and self-directed, we all procrastinate usually at one time or another. True?

Last week, in a lengthy conversation with a friend, we chatted about procrastination.  He said, we all do it.  Even people who are well motivated and so-called ‘self-starters.’  We all have times that we are productive—and then less so.  Why?  Why do we all seem to procrastinate?  It may be a project we have desired for years.  It may be moving ahead in a new relationship or  ending one that does not serve us any longer.  It may be something that we have always wanted to do: write a book—or start a blog?  Publish a poem. Painting our feelings. Buy our first car.  Take a cooking class. Start an exercise routine.  Learn to dance. Or, simply  honor our authentic “us” to be the best version of ourselves we can possibly be without fear of judgment when we choose to  follow our passion from someone in our close circle.  Our family? Or friends?

I began to think about our words on the phone long after the conversation was over.   I remember in school; I was one of those last minute dead-line students most of the time.  Not because I wanted it to drag that unfinished assignment out forever . . .  why?

And, then I answered my own question.  It was fear.  Fear of judgment.  Fear of not getting a good grade.  Fear of not being “good enough.”  Fear of disappointing my parents.  There were so many unsaid and made up things in my mind.  Is this what the pervading persistence of our procrastinational phears (fears) produce?  In the end, it was the fear of not completing the task which over came the fear of the final outcome.  One fear was just bigger than the other and the assignment was turned in. That was then—and this is now.  It is not the class assignment, but our life and our future.  What do we want to create?  The slate is blank; anything we can imagine can be  ours. Our vision is there alive within and without—do we nourish the dream?

So as the starting blocks are set and the white chalk lines mark the track lanes, I ask can we walk through our fears with trust and confidence that we are enough?  That perhaps ‘the fear’ was placed there, as a test to ourselves? Is it there for us to challenge the very thing that scares us the most with ironically love of the Universe as our greatest and biggest ally and support however hidden it may appear?  I must confess, when your in the middle of the storm, it never seems that way.

It looks different for us all.  But, I challenge you to meet your biggest fear head on.  Step into “the new you.”  Be proud of who you are.  Meet the challenge with love knowing that you are supported on every level.  Gather your tribe that loves you no matter what unconditionally.  Could it be a soul family—rather than biological one?  Is that a healthy change for you? A sister from another mother who happens to be your biggest cheer leader?  Or that new friend form work that “gets you.” If you don’t have that—make that declaration now.   As the race into 2016 begins—know that there is really no race and no destination.  It is the journey we call life. Always changing, always challenging and always carrying us to the next level.  It is as fulfilling and amazing as we choose to make it. Pick up your kaleidoscope and twist the end of the rotating tube and create a new reflection for yourself.  What is your heart’s desire?  It will not look the same for you as for your sister, brother, parents or best friends.  Have the courage to just “be you.”

Set your intention. Write your vision and goals on a sheet of paper. Put it in an envelope and put it away in a drawer. Be aware that things may not show up how you “had planned.” Watch for the synchronicity.  Trust and have faith.  Take steps to move toward your new goals and visions. And then have the courage to make the leap when the opportunity arrives at your door.  Lastly, I include a favorite mantra.  Print it out—put it on your mirror and say it at least once a day.  This is co-creating at its best!

I wish you all a joyous—peace-filled and co-creative 2016 as you step into your true magnificence and leave the old fearful ways of procrastination behind in 2015.

Summer Light Magic: A glimpse into our future here on Earth as the New Human Consciousness Unfolds

NVTech_arch0430

When we were children, most of us loved the fantasy stories of magic; stories which involved tales of light and dark, good against evil—happy vs. sad.  Sometimes stories were of magic carpets and genie’s lamps.  Other times we read stories about monsters, bullies, or the wicked—happy when the “good guys” won.   Whatever the story, these tales entertained us—made us laugh, smile or hide under the covers and caused our imaginations to  soar. That was then, this is now.

The real live version of humanities’ unfolding consciousness is continuing to expand—and this time, like fictional Harry Potter—the light is winning. And, unlike the stories that entertained us as children, today, it’s for real.  Humanities next volume  of our creation story opened back in 2012.  We have reached year two.  Humanity has chosen  light, love and compassion, but the dark continues to resist; I guess the light hurts their eyes!  (Smiling) We are being assisted by our seed parents with new information both for us individually and for Mother Earth—Gaia.  The team is assembled; we are playing our parts. . .  nothing you will hear about on the nightly news, lol.

Lee Carroll’s flagship Summer Light conference which takes place every June, offers—a glimpse of where the future of humanity is headed. And, I am here to report, we have much to look forward to; the future is bright!  The key was put into the lock in 2012, and the message was sent into the universes and galaxies—we are ready to be an ascended planet!  Now, as the energy continues  through the ‘magic’ of the metaphorical crystalline, magnetic and Gaia grids—we are receiving multidimensional signals via solar flares and quantum time capsules. We are shifting at the cellular level—the old souls awakening first purposed with intent.  This new beginning is releasing access to own our hidden innate knowledge, wisdom—and power— for we carry within an ancient universal akashic remembrance and it’s been ignited.   We are awakening as never before, to recognize our divinity and the light of the creator that is carried in us, within the depths of our quantum—yes quantum DNA.

The village of family that came together in Sedona included people literally from around the globe. Many professions and passions were represented.  Amongst the group gathered were engineers, and physicians.  Nurses and  writers. Artists, astrologers, readers and healers; world class musicians—not to mention the yellow-sashed volunteers and the 500+ attendees; myself included.  All led by Lee’s enthusiastic, humorous, and humble character leading a delightful and enlightening five days.

So, ‘Under the big tent’ with the cosmic entourage we were guided by the magnetic master whose wisdom is dispensed with the utmost love and where “family” gathers to support us, to remind us who we are and of our magnificence.  It is a boost to give us confidence to trust this new new energetic shift taking place on the planet which is benevolent.  Sometimes, its just getting out of our own way—and our BS (belief system).   We must trust that what lies beyond today is a future of grandness and GOD in your heart—if you allow.  (Funny how spirit put the responsibility on us.)   We are guided not to be fearful of things that change—especially when things happen that are so personal to us, as light-workers.  We were reminded, like tuning the dial to the new radio station, we must take the knob and twist it to find the new frequency—a metaphor for our surroundings and to get rid of the expectations that are old— for our entire platform has shifted.

We are seeing it in the children—and glimpses of new paradigms of medicine which was presented by Dr. Todd and they are exciting.   Pockets of new ideas and integrity must emerge within our politicians, but more will and is changing at every level.  This is the time we have waited for . . .  celebration at hand, we must embrace for all things new, for things will not return to the way they were. In spite of our efforts to hold on,  It is our job to open the door a little wider to allow for things we cannot identify.  The promise from spirit: “if you let your heart open, is it’s safe and it’s gonna feel so good—but different.”  Peace is coming.  New inventions will be here.  New ways of doing things are already taking hold. Other tidbits . . . included:

  • Intuition creates synchronicity—
  • Life creates the bell-shaped curve—unless . . . you create the intention and then you can skew the average just like the rain-dances done by the ancients—for physics is consciousness and consciousness is physics.
  • Consciousness has energy and is changed by randomness of chance—it changes the outcome.   The power of Human Consciousness is immense and has been measured by the Global Coherence Initiative.  Compassionate events that registered  on the instruments included the Death of Princess Diana, the 9-11 event in New York, the Tsunami in 2004 and rescue of 33 miners in Chile.
  • Large Paradigm shifts create the new normal.  ( There is a new normal, no more fighting, negativity or darkness. Practice mastery and show by example. )
  • Live your life with synchronicity and not just logic.
  • Know you are self-balancing.
  • Don’t fear the future.  LIGHT is winning.
  • We’ve got major astrology assisting in the shifting of humanity.
  • Phychoemotional Medicine, stem cell medicine, nutrition and vibrational healing will completely change the face of how we see and practice medicine.  Disease comes from the mind.
  • Medicine will begin to move from “wheels and gears” to energy based.  The mechanical model is changing and it won’t involve pills—it is not about chemistry, but a marriage of multi-dimensional energy with chemistry.  Not chemistry against chemistry, but energy instructing chemistry that exists in the body.  It will depend on belief, and the consciousness and the intent of the patient!
  • Getting old and aging will be something you read about in old newspapers.
  • The winds of change are here.  The quotient between light and dark has changed as only spirit can measure and see. When the planet starts to move forward, more cooperation is here.  Wisdom starts to increase and light is stronger.  We will awaken next time with more innate wisdom that any children have ever awakened on Earth.  We will be part of a new generation that will mystify the parents—just like the indigos have done this time around!
  • The sun has come out—the metaphor of the city on the hill starts to be built. (The city on the Hill representing a peaceful planet and begins to realize who they are.)
  • We are the pioneers of this age—and of the light—and we will be back for this is the fruition of thousands of lifetimes slogging through the old stuff—and we’re not going to miss the new humanity and ascended planet we’ve worked so hard for.  We’ll be back without karma and filled with wisdom.  “And, so it is.”

Just Saying . . . Can We Put Down Our Sword for Peace?

Love and RelationshipsConflict: It’s all around us. How do we have peace in our world, unless we begin with our own family, friends, co-workers, clan, village or tribe?  It must begin with us at the simplest and yet most difficult place- our own lives; within our self.  Peace lies at the heart and foundation of our health and well-being; emotion and disease are closely related.

We must remember it is our commonality-not our differences that we must choose to see.   Bringing conflict to our awareness is necessary as we head full steam ahead into the holiday season; a difficult time of year for so many.  But, does it have to be? Can we unlearn and re-write our past? I believe it is not only possible, but with intention we can and will get there.

What if we could listen and did not judge or try to solve each other’s “problems’?  Instead, coming from a place of compassion and tolerance when the one sitting across from you is negative and in pain?  Are several hours of empathy too much to ask? Perhaps watching a favorite game on television or taking a walk together?  A practice of one small act?

And what does this mean for the macrocosm of our world that is also our home? We hold out the elusive word “peace” like an obnoxious red neon sign in an all-night diner which glows and blinks in the clear glass window every day, but I ask you, how can we wish peace for the world, when are at war-at odds-or have such anger towards a father, mother, brother, sister or ex-spouse or at ourselves?

Is it the expectations that we place upon others?  The imaginary fairy tale

running in our head we believe as truth and resist with our will and ego never to let go?  Does the anger and hate of another caused by abuse, violence, neglect  or our limiting beliefs of what “should be” restrict and severs this peace and love? Is it the emptiness in ourselves that scares us most or a mirror we hold reflect where the biggest challenge lies?  Always within.

As we move into the holiday season, I would challenge you to look at the most difficult person in your life through a different filter and lens.  Are you able to do such a thing?  Just as a photographer make decisions shooting a photograph.  When you change your lens, the lighting or the background, the photograph will appear much different; there can be no other outcome.  The outcome for you will be different too.We must start within our own hearts and own families-our toughest lesson, right?  And, if we can move there-even if first to a place to neutrality-we not only change ourselves, but we change the world.  (Two + Two only equal four when the two is ready.) Are you ready to be that two-the “two” of change?  When we move from our need to be right (beliefs) into gratitude, and then to love everything changes.  Because, in the end, love is all there is.  Just saying . . . it’s up to us. “Inspired Wellness Within”~Cathy, HC

Health Begins in our mind!

Cathrine_Silver_Logo 2 final
What is health and wellness and where does it actually begin? As the month and designation of “Health and Wellness Month” unfolds it is important to have a new insight into the depth we call health—and ask the question “What can I do to create more wellness in my life?”

For most it seems, that elusive term somehow slips from our view, as our own power, innate wisdom and guidance is relinquished to the “men in white coats.”  However, just like freedom is all a state of mind–so is our health. There is no limited quality—nor is it only available to some—and not others.  We have not been handed “bad genes” as once believed by medicine, but instead have the power within our grasp.  It is our responsibility. And, it is ours for the allowance. We have the ability to heal ourselves of anything. We have to ask ourselves, what do I really want? Do we simply want relief or do we want to be healed and step into a life of true health and a life of wellness to accomplish what we came here for? Ready?

First we must declare that intention. I believe true health lies hidden in what has been called self-love, and it is a reflection of our balance or imbalance and all have access.  Those receptors, antennae or Wi-Fi signals within our cellular structure that “hear” every thought, know every intent, allowance and recognize the energy of love are listening. The good news is once we have the information and understanding we have the power to do something!

What you say, I am responsible for my own well-being? I am not a victim of genetics? Can you own that? Are you willing to “try this new belief on?”  Or does this statement make you angry or mad?  Perhaps it empowers you to do something different?  Are you willing to take action?  Now, we’re getting somewhere!

Cutting edge science is not only talking about this but has proof as well.  And, you won’t hear this from big pharma who wants you to believe otherwise and stay trapped in the downward spiral of drugs and more drugs, helpless to do anything for ourselves.

We are beings of light and have the power to change our reality to anything we choose; it is free for the asking! What a concept!

Let me offer you 10 suggestions to get you on the road to your life of wellness:

1.) Turn off the news on the T.V.  Why do you want to program yourself with fear–conflict and negativity? Instead, find a way to laugh–and experience everyday joy!  Feeling better already?

2.) Get outside. Feel the energy of Mother Earth. Go for a walk. Take off your shoes—go to the beach.  Plan a picnic. (Even if it is a simple sandwich & sitting quietly by yourself.) Open the windows, and let the Devas in!  Find something to celebrate!

3.) Eat well–the best you can afford. Eat your fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water.  (And, no ketchup does not count as a fruit or veggie.) The fresher the better. Frozen is better than canned. Choose things that need no label or have 5 ingredients or less. Plant a garden or simply put a few plants in pots. Herbs do well in small spaces and can be fun to grow and experiment with. I grow tomatoes in the winter (south Florida season) but have rosemary, basil, green onions, thyme, sage, chives and parsley which do quite well. Shop farmers markets for affordable organic.  STAY AWAY FROM GMO’s.  And, skip the orange juice—it has lots of sugar.  Instead opt for an orange instead.  Cut down or eliminate the dairy.

4.) Do not use a microwave. Microwaves change the polarity of food.  Go back to the stove!

5.) Exercise! Exercise relieves stress and stress kills!  This doesn’t mean you have to join a gym unless that suits you.  Think movement:  Dance, swimming, walking, bicycling, or tennis—just get your body moving!

6.) Meditate. If you don’t know how purchase a cd–or visit a nearby yoga class. These classes are for every age. Find one you like.  All are different—it depends on the instructor. Stress was designed for short periods–like getting chased by a tiger. When we are stressed our immune system stops working and we are more susceptible to pathogens–germs–disease. Give yourself permission to quite your mind. Fill it with positive thoughts, expectations and breath.  It is our connection to Spirit—God—or All That Is.

7.) Do you have toxic relationships in your life? If your relationships are filled with anger, or other negativity remove yourself. Instead choose relationships that are caring, loving and supportive. Choose to trust that you will create space for positive relationships if you clear out the old and give allowance for someone new.  Remember like attracts like.

8.) Get creative. Creativity can create your future: your wishes, desires, aspirations, and future. Having fun elevates your mood which is good for your health. Creativity can show up as writing, drawing, photography, and singing–all those wonderful right brain activities; choose one!

9.) Drop in to your heart–get out of your left brain for a second–and feel yourself in a perfect state of wellness, harmony and the feeling of love.  Then read the statement below every morning with intention and allowance!  Really feel it!

“Dear Cellular Structure,

I wish to have the attributes that I have earned in what I call my past that will enhance the ability for me to live my current life with more ease and grace.  I wish to recall those things that will allow me to live longer, do my work better, and give me peace over the things that I desire to do.  I wish to mine the Akash for this, which is in my personal DNA.”

10.) Get help if you need to.  This is not a sign of weakness but one of choice and power. Einstein noted years ago, that doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results was the definition of insanity.  Get out of your own way.   Emotions and the mind play the biggest role in determining our state of wellness.  These beliefs that we carry are the only thing that is really “inherited”—and the biggest question is:  Are we ready to do something to change our outdated story—habits and belief system to one that serves us better?  I say YES!  What is it for you?

Health and wellness begins and ends with us.  There are no victims–only unawareness. Step into your innate power and light–own it. Pretend you are “air traffic control” give the new coordinates to those 50 trillion cells within your body–and see what positive changes begin to unfold. Take your INTENT and your alchemy to create the greatest happiness and state of wellness you have ever known!

Why Not A celebration of the ‘Wise Divine Feminine’ Instead of Just “Mother’s Day”?

Creativity 11“I am woman hear me roar–in numbers too big to ignore and I know too much to go back and pretend, ’cause I’ve heard it all before and I’ve been down there on the floor and no one’s ever gonna keep me down again” . . . This Sunday, the elusive holiday of Mother’s Day is upon us. Although, I have two sons, and am a mother in the traditional sense and definition, it seems too limiting today.  Do I dare ask, have we outgrown the definition or perhaps can we be open to a wider definition and perception of “Mother”?  Is the idea of “Mother” broader and harder to define than just those who have given physical birth or are raising children?  Is it possible to expand this yearly observance to all women and in a sense honoring “The Wisdom of the Feminine Divine”?

Whether or not we give birth to a soul returning to earth in a new expression, the energy of the Mother is powerful.  All women as the vessels we are bring fourth innate wisdom, original creativity birthing new ideas and are able to lend our strength and leadership which has the ability to connect families, villages and organizations manifesting and completing the circle in ways of unique kinship and spark; glue that binds.  And when done with astuteness brings a gentleness to balance the masculine divine, each with complementing purpose and energy.

The feminine healing energy of the Mother extends beyond the classic boundaries. Some women choose not to have children this life time–others cannot–all within the divine plan and perfection.   Perhaps choosing instead to teach school to the little ones or care and bring nurturing energies to elders, or hospitalized patients. There are powerful healers, some who rescue and care for animals; large and small.  Or what about those creative forces which give way to new projects and creative ideas and impact our world with new thoughts and ways of being?  We celebrate such historical mythical figures and archetypes like the High Priestess, courageous Athena,  the goddess Venus, the powerful Kali, sensitive White Tara, creative Sarasvati-or even the healing White Buffalo Woman.  These perhaps are the energies within the walls of corporations, Wall Street and the science of science and medicine.

We all have unique attributes that we bring to the planet Mother Earth to whom we know as Gaia.  Each woman carries love, excitement, joy, gratitude and the possibility of expansion in all things.  We hold a light that nothing can deter.  Celebrate you and all you do for the world.

As Helen Reddy sang so eloquently in the 70’s . . . “Oh yes I am wise, but it’s wisdom born of pain. Yes, I’ve paid the price but look how much I gained. If I have to I can face anything. I am strong.  I am invincible.  I am woman”.

Happy Mother’s Day to your wise, divine, feminine you.

Bringing in More Light . . . Compassion Choir 2013

Image

Creating a new reality? Rewriting the future? Singing tones to the Earth?
Opening time capsules?

It sounds like science fiction: Star Wars, Stargate, Star Trek or Deep Space Nine; creative imaginative writers working for some big Hollywood production studio. Right? Wrong. But, as you already know, truth is stranger than fiction.

Like iron filings to a magnate, I was drawn to and spent this past week in Cancun, Mexico toning sacred sounds in an ancient language: two choirs singing two different sets of tones paired together. We sang  twenty-six tones,  “speaking” to our personal DNA and activating time capsules within ourselves while simultaneously speaking to and unlocking  attributes for our beloved Mother Earth, activating things called grids, nulls, nodes and more time capsules–all quantum, put in place by the ancient Pleiadians, our long lost family, from the Seven Sisters should we make it this far—and we have!

All of this unlocked by a brilliant scientific visionary, Dr. Todd Ovokaitys, who served as the choir master 26,000 years ago in a civilization known as Lemruia.  Over the last dozen years he has remembered precise patterns to trigger the opening of our pineal glands, beginning to awaken and transform us– humanity– to a more compassionate race and sending information to the universes and galaxies beyond, tapping into a deep level of “quantum reality.”  These seen and unseen, male-female, inward-outward, giving-receiving, and compassion-allowing energies create a very real and profound experience recognized in our awareness or not. These tones mine information stored within our Akashic records, opening channels of telepathy, aiding in transformation without limits, activating the third eye and tying us into a quantum connection with All There Is.

Fascinating esoteric stuff–invisible–like gravity, magnetics or the feelings of love—but based in physics and way beyond my technical expertise. Yet it resonates as Truth for me and that is why I share it with you and why I spent this past week in Mexico with 300 others from around the world.  Everything is energy and “at the level of quantum understanding, everything in the Universe is simply waves and vibrations” including these rhythms, tones and sounds we generated together in a beautiful angelic chorus.

But, the bigger question is why? In a simple answer: Compassion. By singing and toning these unique sounds and patterns, the choir began to move humanity and birth our new reality; to help us become more astute and caring to each other no matter what corner of the world we live in. These are the beginning steps to a new foundation for humanity as we begin to move out of our current competitive dog-eat-dog fear-based world and into a world and new human consciousness that will embrace attributes such as: tolerance, temperance, generosity and integrity.

I share this vision of unlimited possibility and ask you to believe in a world of peace, love and compassion as the new structure unravels our past and the old crumbles giving way to this new outlook.  Look around and ask, Have we begun this shift? The answer is, yes. You can see glimpses as it begins to unfold—like a delicate flower opening before our very eyes. Perhaps as family members respect and honor the others’ opinions and ways of being for the first time–ever, or as simply a more cooperative spirit among your colleagues at work?  There will be a noticeable shift.  And, does it really matter how we get there? I think not, but one day we will all celebrate this new world together,  only remembering the dark barbaric ways of the past, and instead, seeing our magnificence. And that is a beautiful and divine place to be!

Thoughts on . . . Thanksgiving

Happy-ThanksgivingWhat is important to us? What’s really important? With the approaching holidays just around the bend–perhaps it is time to examine our priorities and lighten up? “Perfect” is only a state of mind; a belief. The perfect dinner. The perfect table. The perfect company. We put so much pressure on ourselves and others about what holidays HAVE to look like. Maybe we need more spontaneity and fun? Yes, the new “F” word: FUN.  Anyone who knows me, knows I like to cook, inviting others to enjoy a great meal–no matter what the occasion. But gone are the days when everything must be just so.  It is all about enjoying the moment.   I am giving you permission for the same!

When the fun is gone, the stress takes over. Is it time to re-create and unlearn how we believe the holidays must look? Can you be in the moment and enjoy the NOW—not worrying about the next leg of the modern-day relay race? Why not decide in advance how you can remove some of the pressure of the perfect “Hallmark” dinner. Maybe crazy cousin Eddy’s unexpected arrival is divinely designed to add the spark of humor and lightness that no one else brings? The dessert falling or the dog helping himself to the plate of appetizers will not be the end, but a memory everyone will remember and laugh about long after the wishbone from the turkey is snapped. It is the heart not the head that gets us into this feeling of love and love doesn’t care about perceptions –a wrinkled table cloth or chips in a couple of plates.  It directs you to what is real.

If it is easier to share the responsibility–or get the restaurant on the corner to do part of the cooking, so much the better. I know it looks different for every family. This year, is it possible to start a new tradition? Or UN-learn something? Perhaps, invite someone to your house who has no family near? Or choose to bury the hatchet with a relative over an argument you had that you can’t even remember what it was about? A potluck? A neighborhood Thanksgiving? A brunch or an open house? Or a different day; it is only a day on the calendar.

Whatever it is, make the declaration and set the intention to have fun. Attitude is everything. When the stress creeps in, don’t forget to exercise–even just a quick walk will make a difference. Trade an apple for a slice of apple pie. Visualize, meditate and keep a good attitude. It’s only dinner after-all!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Vitamin G: A Powerful Way to Start Everyday!

Gratitude-is-the-hearts-memory-a-French-proverb1Gratitude, another key to happiness and well-being. We all know this innately, but sometimes it’s like forgetting to put our napkin in our lap or turning off the light before we exit a room.
Gratitude is more than an intellectual exercise of just giving thanks or uttering the platitude, “I feel blessed today”. Not of course that those things aren’t true, but it is the ability to really feel this emotion.  When we drop into our heart we activate a consciousness and create a new reality ; this is where the magic happens!

I remember saying grace every evening at the dinner table growing up.  It was the prerequisite to beginning the family meal, and looking back, it felt more like sitting at a red light, waiting for the signal to turn green–and permission to GO. This morning, when I look around at all the hardship and  daily struggle, my gratitude extends to many things in my life; I note my beautiful home, my purposeful career, my friends–and family. My boys are good,  my health excellent–and my parents still alive in their 80’s.  And, although I am no longer 30, I have more life lessons under my belt.   I have more experience, wisdom and insight that melds with who I have become today.  I look forward to whatever the future brings.

So, gratitude for me is about really feeling it in my heart. It’s yours to own as well when we are able to get out of our head. The heart, is 5000 times more powerful than our left-brain intellect. The hearts mystery contains the powerful feminine-side of our emotions, feelings and love. It is the seed which is able to move mountains–that tiny seed when nurtured is able to grow through the toughest conditions.  It all begins with intention. Do we show love and have gratitude for our earth, the plants and animals–our forests and oceans and all the abundance contained therein?

I send the challenge out to you too: gratitude for 60 seconds today? And, if you are having a really “bad”day, can you think of just one thing–and then notice how you feel? What about one more? Better huh. On a good day these things are easy– but the power comes when we are challenged. So, what do you have gratitude for, and what does it feel like when we choose from our heart?  After all, recent studies indicate, about 40 percent of our own happiness is entirely within our control.  What if it was even higher than that?  100 percent?  Who knows?

A massage for our soul, certainly our mind, and also the place the seeds to health, and wellness are nurtured and grow.  And, by the way, gratitude and happiness include at wide range of health benefits for us including, less incidence of strokes.  We have better immunity against colds and flu.  We have less pain, lower cortisol levels, less stress and inflammation in our body. Like a beautiful garden, see what shows up in your life when the seeds of gratitude are planted! Better than any supplement. Happy is healthy. Have you had your energetic and transforming Vitamin G today?
